Knights of Sidonia is a really cool sci-fi anime/manga with disturbing imagery.

Without spoiling too much, it's a post-apocalyptic space themed anime/manga about giant aliens and how the last remaining humans are at war with them.

A friend was watching that. I figured since they were ripping off a Muse title, it might at least be worth a chance. I didn't finish it, it was pretty mediocre, IMO, felt like it was trying to be Attack on Titan (which I also didn't care for) in space.

Can someone recommend an anime or manga with a creepy, foreboding atmosphere? I'm looking for something that is genuinely disturbing.

Does anyone have that one page from some manga which was kinda like "your brother saw this face a lot and it meant good luck. If you see this face, you don't wanna know what happens if you see this face." And then you see that face over his shoulder.
