My Opa use to tell stories about how to summon the devil at the campfire after he had a few. One involved putting 6 or 7 cats in a bag with 6 or 7 knots (can't remember quantities) then leaving the bag in the middle of a 4 way intersection at a certain date and time, after a week if they weren't road kill the knots would undo themselves and either the devil himself was set loose or some other hellish deity. The other one I remember sounded scary as fuck. With a specific type of would on a certain date and time again (he wouldn't tell us the times) you widdle a 3 legged stool overnight in a church and by the time you finish you wait for the services to start the next day. As you sit on the stool inside the church you will be able to see as people enter, those you turn there heads sideways will have flaming horns that couldn't fit through facing forward. At this point they're pretty much staring you down cursing you to death. You only have until church ends to lock yourself away in a house (LOCK EVERYTHING) otherwise they will come and steal your soul... My mom said her sis recorded some of these stories but I'm too much of a puss to ask for them...
