Alright /x/, general thread asking what you believe is real, i.e. aliens, ghosts, bigfoot, whatever. No bullshit, give some sort of reason why.
For me, I know there's other actual intelligent life forces outside our solar system. My father has had really fucked up experiences growing up in the deserts of Mexico (where he's from) and even recently that my mom witnessed (she never really believed until this).

Is illogical and proves you don't know whats real.

>Stop believing
>Only know

Fuck yeah RPDR!

Anyone here follow any deities/religions outside the normal few? Followers of Baphomet or people who believe in random fringe religions and such.

Care to elaborate?

Little bit of a long story. But growing up he had a pet barn owl. It just appeared out of nowhere and he decided to feed it and it became a companion. Some years later when he was around 8 or 9, one night he went outside to the front yard, which wasn't a yard, it was basically empty desert. Outside were shining lights, blinding even. He began walking to them because he was just drawn to them, he couldn't put it any other way to me when he was telling me this story. My grandmother (his mom) remembers this and she told me all her instinct told her to do was to grab my dad and carry him back in, so she ran to him and did just that. After she got him inside the lights disappeared and there was nothing outside when she looked out right after. The barn owl finally left the next day.
Fast forward to a few years ago, here in California. My mom tells me the morning after this happened. She said she woke up in the middle of the night to my dad speaking really fast, and in languages she never heard in her life nor recognized. She woke up my dad and told him what was happening and he said he had no idea and didn't remember a thing. She says that she never believed his stories fully until that night, and was never so freaked out either.

OP here again, to answer your first questions. I don't believe in solely one deity or being, but I believe that the energy you put into your belief is what you get back for a lot pertaining to paranormal. I guess that's sorta a rule of thumb with these things though.

Ill bite.

I believe in ghosts because I have seen a few with my own eyes. It seems to be a thing in my family as have both of my parents have told me of their experiences too and they are respectable people not prone to flights of fancy so i have no reason to disbelieve them.
My fiancee also claims to have seen stuff as a child and my young daughter told me she'd seen a "black ghost" but I dont give too much credence to the lurid and wild imagination of childhood.

I believe in the occult - ie: as a system of magick that can be made to manipulate reality through will and intent. believe some throughout history have harnessed these forces (Crowley, A.O. Spare, Dr John Dee for example) I also believe it is a very dangerous thing to dabble with - an ex gf of mine dabbled once and it effected us both very negatively.

I believe there is a God as in some kind of central underlying force of creation.

I dont believe what most would consider ayyliums are visitors from other planets. I believe that these things are rather closer to 'demons; in the traditional sense and are interdimensional rather than extraterrestrial. For example, the 'grey' ayyliums are nothing more than biological space suits that these interlopers use to interact in our plane of existence.

I believe that we should be very cautious regarding entities and such and we should not automatically take them on their word ("Im the spirit of your dead grandfather", "Im a benevolant space brother from the pleades" etc etc) as they may have alterior motives, mischevious, malicous and even unknowable,

I believe there is much that is currently incomprehensible to us. I also believe that consciousness survives death.

I believe certain members of our elite class (particularly jews) are heavily involved in occult systems and some very dark and sinister goings on are happening behind closed doors.

I believe there is a current conspiracy to implement a programme of "soft genocide" targeted at the white race.

We need to drop the nukes on the spooks.
Get revenge on the jews.
And exterminate the muslims in the most brutal way possible. The tears will be superb.
I'm not too fond of asians but they are the least I dislike when it comes to non white races. I wouldn't care about killing them, but we could also save them, since after the ''''''''''soft''''''''''' white genocide, it's the easts turn.

I believe aliens must be real, since we are nothing but a speck of sand in a beach of different planets and galaxies. It's harder to believe that there aren't other life forms out there. I do believe most planets cannot sustain life, but there must be at least a few others that can.
>>
nothing is real.

the entire universe besides myself is one single conscious entity and is playing a game with me.
>>
I believe in Spirits. When my daughter was around 5 or so, she walked out of bed, kind of levitated off the ground, and just went back to sleep. She remembered it and refused to go back into her room for awhile. She also claimed to see a "red man" looking at her yet no one else could see him. This doesn't happen anymore, though.
>>
Believe nothing. Belief is what christfags do. Question everything. Never be 100% sure of anything, always leave that 1% uncertainty otherwise you'll stop learning.

What we see is totally subjective, whether it be the colour blue or a UFO.

Are aliens real, IDK. Are ghosts real, idk. Is there a god, idk.

We don't know enough to make an objective definition of anything "paranormal".

I agree that belief of any kind is a self-imposed prison for the mind. Confirmation bias will strongly affect your perceptions.
That said, I have learned to not believe anything. I have theories, yes, but I'm not married to them. They can and do change over time as I learn more.
At this point, my theories are this:

> Ultimate Reality is no-thing, a formlessness that contains all potentiality. Enlightenment is the realization of this no-thingness.
> but that no-thing-ness does express itself in 'form' in various ways, and after you have become enlightened, you return to the world of form with a new appreciation for it.
> You yourself are formless form. Think about waves on the ocean; a wave is an individual thing that can be pointed at, but it’s still made entirely of nothing but ocean the entire time
> So our ‘true form’ is spirit energy; we are fractally derived from the Ground of Being and inherently, inseparably a part of it.
> we are not actually the bodies and earthly identities we have
> because the physical world is basically just a dream. It’s like a play. You play a character named (your name) in the drama.
> despite the physical world being ultimately unreal, that doesn’t mean the experience of its ‘reality’ doesn’t seem legitimate to the people inside it, and it’s also no reason to not enjoy it. Ghosts/fairies/angels/elves/what have you are valid experiences in this sea of infinite possibility
> all those entities, too, are conscious energy fractally derived from the Ground of Being, both ultimately as real as and ultimately unreal as you or I am
> I -have- noticed a difference in fundamental energy types. The best model I have at the moment is that Beingness expresses some consciousness through a spectrum. Think of a prism. some people/entity types express, for lack of a better term, ‘purple’ frequency, others express ‘orange,’ etc.

with that long-ass preface, I do believe in just about everything. It’s all possible.

It sounds like a ton of other alien ightings. Theres been a trend recently across the world where alien sighters and abductees ahave all seen owls or been in connection to them. You should look into it
>>
>>17637846
>>17639365
Someone wrote a book on the owl-UFO connection in the last couple-few years. I respect the publisher a lot, but I thought the connection seemed like too much of a reach to bother with that book. Anon's story really got my attention. I think I'll read that book now.
>>
>>17639376
Yeah I recently heard about the book on mysterious universe. It definietely seems like it might be at least worth reading
>>
>>17639365
Except that wasn't recent, it was more than forty years ago

That was a really good addition to this discussion, definitely gives me reason to alter my thinking at least a little when considering the world. Thanks

I've had a similar thing happen to me as did your dad in California. One night a long time ago my mom woke and came to check on me, and when she did, she said that I was speaking a language in my sleep which she didn't recognize, but said it sounded like Hebrew. Strange, right?

Build Wall.
>>
>>17637846
First of all, Build wall.
Second of all, I'm sure the thing your dad saw when he was a kid was headlights from a car, but your Abuela is retarded and rarely saw cars. It was probably a bunch of rapist coyotes or cartel.
Third of all, the language your mother never heard was probably English, since she never needed to learn it, being a backpage escort.
