Do the people in dreams feel pain and emotion? I have always

I have felt real strong and definitite pain in a few dreams.

Most dreams not at all but a few select ones real agony

I've had a dream where my brain set up a puzzle that I had to solve. It's crazy how the brain operates on different layers.

I don't know but last night there was a guy in my dream who pushed a toothpick under his skin and ran it under a vein about 5 inches up his wrist and hand exposing it. This was in order to make me an apple milkshake, no lie and idk what it means

If you are saying that your brain is capable of emulating other humans brains in their entirety, then no, that is not physically possible. Everything in your dream is your brains subjective consolidation of memories during an unconscious state, nothing more.

I never feel pain in dreams. If something is bad enough to kill me in a dream, i just wake up or "reset" to another dream.

The closest I've ever gotten to killing someone is in dreams, and that's taught me that my brain understands the pain involved on both ends during a murder.

omg this I had the same thing except I was shot in the head.

So much pain, but kind of numbing pain. I remember tasting metallic tastes in my mouth and like "inside" the back of my brain. I also remember losing my ability to move or process as I fell to the floor and have a possible seizure/death

worst pain ever, way too "real" even though I haven't had that experience [thankfully]

Also I've experienced all the senses fully in dreams, including tastes and smoking cigrits

I never experienced pain but one time when I had the flu I fell asleep and dreamed of being in a castle. It was impossibly hot. You couldn't breath. Everythong was tinted red because because it was so hot. I dreamed of opening windows but nothing changed. I woke up with my face covered completely by two thick ass blankets I covered myself with. I also don't feel emotions. Not really. Last night I dreamed my friend raped and killed a girl and I hepled him get rid of the body. The polics figured us out and I got ten years. I remember feeling anxious and panicky

I've met people I know in dreams, they were there with me in the dream, not just projections. Not going to give details, take it or leave it.

I think what he meant was have you ever interacted with someone in a dream other than the usual (family, people you know), that when you woke up, he or she felt like an actual person and not some AI vidya game character. Or perhaps a re-occurring stranger in your dreams.

I have a strange re-occurring one that kinda ties into all this.

Yes, it has been observed that if one stays asleep through the process if sustaining the injury and wakes up after, assuming you're still in REM, they will wake up and feel some degree of that pain but only for a few moments. Cases that come to mind are stabs or falling on one's face of hurting your knee.

OP is not asking if YOU or OTHER HUMANS feel pain in their dreams. He's asking if the other people populating your dreams experience consciousness.

Answer is probably no, but still an interesting thing to think about. But if they did, their existence would be due to the machinery of your own brain, meaning it would just be a "copy" of you experiencing pain, but one your not aware of.
