There was some bizarre show I watched once while I was sick. It took place underground. I remember there was lava and all the cave walls were red. There were dinosaurs, but they were only dead skeletons. The humans were using good and bad dinosaurs to fight some war. The part that freaked me out was when one dinosaur took a human and imprisoned him in his rib cage. This was in the early 80s.

I think it was Inhumanoids but not sure.

That fucking episode "The Cloning" from Aqua Teen Hunger Force.

OK, the episode has Master Shake being his usual stupid self, constantly destroying whatever new TV Frylock is forced to make for him. After Frylock makes the final TV, he goes to watch it but it turns out the warning Frylock gave about it (that whatever is cloned too much is altered) of course comes true.

Shake watches himself on the tv stare silently, smiling complete with ominious music while he badly tries to play it cool to I think Meatwad. Then the other Shake on the screen go "I'm in your home". Fucking creepy as hell, though every other bit was hilarious.

Trust me, back in 1992 this was the scariest thing on TV since the Thriller video appeared on Top of the Pops!

When I was really little, I got super freaked out by the Simpsons episode where Bart gets hit by a car and goes to hell. Just looked it up and it would've been '91, so I would've been 5 or so. I didn't watch the Simpsons again until I was like 10.

Another one was an epsiode of one of those Nickelodeon spooky shows, "Are You Afraid of the Dark" or "Goosebumps," where this kid gets sucked into a crystal doorknob. It's been like 20+ years since then and those doorknobs still creep me out a bit.

Yes the Dark Harvest. I was too old to be creeped out by it but I was like "whoa Invader Zim's got balls!" Growing up an edgy goth kid it just made me love the show more. Can't believe they got away with that. How was that not banned?

I think it was an episode of Doctor Who or something but there were these two twins and there was a rockslide, and one of them was trapped in the rockslide but their hand was sort of exposed in the rubble, and when the other twin went to reach for it the hand had turned to stone and fell off. It was probably some stupid campy not-scary thing but I was just a kid and didn't understand anything so it gave me nightmares.

Can I use this thread to try and find a show that I haven't seen since I was very young?

I remember it was a puppet/muppet show, not unlike Sesame Street, and it would have aired in the mid to late 90s. The main character was a girl with, I think yellow skin? I can hardly remember what the puppet looked like. Anyway, the particular episode of this show that stuck with me as a kid was an episode about fear. There was a lightning storm, and she was terrified of the lightning. Halfway through the episode, they all baked a cake, but someone dropped it, and just before it was about to fall, it cut away to a musical interlude where the girl sang about things that scared her. I couldn't have been older than three or four when I saw this, so I remember being terrified when a pair of eyes rolled out from under her bed, followed by a set of teeth, and hands that moved on their own. I remember begging my mom to check under my bed every night after that.

This, for at least two weeks that shit had me spooked. Something about losing agency, man...weirdly enough that happening to others is a weird kink of mine, but it's terrifying if it were to happen to me. Psychological bullshit is weird, eh?
Also there was a scooby doo movie with a skeleton that was fake but you could see through it until they unmasked him. For some reason that got me when I was like, 10. I was sick and up till 3:00, nothin else was on. Grim adventures of billy and Mandy cured me of that fear though.

There was this show I saw a few times as a kid, only ever at like, ridiculous hours of the morning where you're only up cause you're a kid and went to sleep and like 8pm the night before. It was a puppet show, it always looked weird as shit though, but I was never too creeped out by it until one episode. The premise of the show was the puppet characters worked at a fast food joint or some shit like that, and the episode I'm talking about specifically revolved around one character getting a tape worm. If i recall correctly, they pulled the fucking thing right out of him mouth first and it was huge. Freaked the living shit out of me as a kid, and I've never gotten it out of my head, still makes me wary about how cooked the meat I eat is.
