When Soviet Army was falling back from Vyborg in Finland, a lot of horses ran into a lake, night came and frozen them still like statues on merry-go-round. I do too. There should be more. I think it's an underutilized aspect of horror. I was just looking at a thread about overused tropes for horror movies. I feel like sea creatures are the opposite (not counting the dozens of terrible SciFi straight to video or actual creatures that exist gone rogue). The Host is one of the few movies that come to mind that has some creature from the water that I feel is pretty creepy.
