I can shiva help me with my destiny?

Just something for those trying to get results. First of all, take everyone elses experience out of your mind. Adepts who become masters do so formulating their own worldview. Nothing of the work comes without work, time to yourself to ruminate on how everything functions and how to effect that same functioning will be good for you. Rigorous practice isn't necessary but a keen devotion to the task at hand is.

How does overcome one's laziness, fear, or hesitation at pursuing a task that they know little about? I want to make a living doing writing and art. I know my skills are good enough, but I'm terrible at marketing/networking/putting myself out there because part of me believes I'm just some naive kid who's simply fooling himself that he has what it takes.

Is it entirely possible to remember teachings from past lives with enough clarity to "instantly" gain powers. I only ask because I experienced this phenomena after smelling a breeze when meditating, and my life was thrown into chaos with my sudden inability to eat meat, lack of sleep, and hearing chanting that I couldn't discern at the time, that I know know to be a mantra for shiva.

I didn't know who shiva was as a child, but I had "Imaginary friends" that I know now to be gods. Is it common for The Rudra to appear before you know his name? Is it okay to trust that what I have mystically experience is valid, even if I've never set foot in a hindu temple?

Is it appropriate to chant sanskrit mantras if I heard them internally, or should I be initiated? I'm a woman if ths counts for magic purposes, a libra
