X, please help. I need more information about the Belray Surge. This is what I have:

Ogden (or Salt Lake), Utah
1990s, but 1993 especially
A power surge or outage occurred, and then houses disappeared?

Is this image in any way related? Basically all I know is from googling it and finding dead links and archived 4channers mentioning it.
>>
Bump.. Does anyone really have information as to what happened here? Anything would be helpful, honestly.
>>
>>17562333
sorry I don't, sounds like the philadelphia project though.

This is all that I can find.
>>
/x/ or /x], but never X
>>
>>17562551
Thanks, dude. This gives me a more precise address and it shows that more people have some clue what the Belray Surge is. I just don't know how no one else is talking about it on the internet.

>>17562557
Yeah sorry I don't know how or why I said that. For some reason I had a feeling I should capitalize it.
>>
Wait, where did you get "a power surge or outage occurred, and then houses disappeared" from? None of the (very few) discussions that are accessible through Google mention anything about houses disappearing.

Also, it might be worth mentioning that Utah is a hotbed of government activity. It's also where that Fun Time Kidz Kare childcare center is located (Salt Lake City, to be precise).
>>
>>17562630
That's what I saw in some random thread. Could be bs
>>
>>17562630
i think OP is trying to force a new meme like despair code faggots
>>
>>17562238
That looks like a close up of a cantalope
>>
>>17562630
I got power surge thing from some dude in a despair code thread, when I asked about the Belray Surge. He confirmed the location and the time period, said the thing about the houses, and then suggested I make a thread because "/x/ loves to talk about that, just mention it and 10 threads will pop up".

>>17562642
I would love to think it's a new meme but I've seen mention of it from archived posts found on Google, and the archive post found in this post. Lots of people have mentioned it fleetingly, all connected to the general idea, but apparently there is no permanent record.
>>
So the narrative is this: in the fall of 1993, a power surge occurred in Ogden or Salt Lake City, Utah, which caused the disappearance of houses, and the government is trying to cover it up?
It has potential as an ARG or short story, but I don't know if I buy it as a conspiracy theory.
Anyway, the earliest mention of the Belray surge that I can find is from January 16, 2016, from 4chan. Two days later, user mangymoo on AnonBoards made a post about it. Pretty much nothing else has been mentioned again until recently.

...Aaand now my computer isn't loading any pages related to the Belray surge even though other pages are loading just fine. Great.
>>
>>17562630
Yeah that's the gist of it, so that I can figure. It looks like the pic above might be the area that was covered up? No idea, I found it because it was titled 'Belray surge' on 4chan.

do you remember anything from the original thread? I don't think anyone here was there
>>
>>17563068
It was some guy that i think was pretending to be military saying it was a coverup.
I'm half sure it was bad roleplay
>>
>>17563073
Ahh okay. I was hoping that it was more elaborate than it probably is.

I searched for a while and now I'm realizing it's most likely that some dude just misled people with a cryptic name and back story just to do it, lmao.

I was also researching this phenomena, or whatever you want to call it, and that site loads really weird for me. Like won't load completely. Can anyone be a bro and paste the pertinent data back here please?
>>
>>17563274
Yeah this site fucks up for me to, because it doesn't allow AdBlock. It's like an archive for 4chan posts, and there are tons of posts. I'm not really sure how much of it is relevant to the Surge, but some people mention it because the coordinates take place in Utah.

The code posted is 081 066 032 065 066 071 032 084 066 032 078 089 066 065 082 41.836271, -113.093003. With an image post as well, can't see it, but I think it is the image in the OP here.

Someone puts in the coordinates in, and asks "Utah? Is OP's pic the belray surge?" Someone remarks the photo looks like a watering hole for animals. Someone says it's some sort of geocaching hint. Later they decode it, the code says "Follow the woodland fairies, but do not go alone!".

One user says, "user pls...i live in the states...i asked utah cause if so then pic may be of belray surge...

Also what is with the random squares on the side of the road/path?
pic related"

So clearly multiple users here make the connection between Utah and the Belray Surge. It seems like this was only partially related, but it does show there is recognition of the phenomenon.

Maybe your site will load if you turn off your adblock? Just a thought because Adblock makes the site freak out for me, display a big warning, and then slow it down.
>>
a kind redditor showed me this fancy link to more people talking about the belray surge, including some theories and info that circles back to the map in OP, and the archive post shared earlier in this thread from sheekyforums:

You are retarded if you can't realize how much of a coverup this is. That is, if you aren't a NWO-serving disinformation agent trying to spread that every phenomenon is a 'meme'.

>>17565088
Someone should drive there. Utah, this is the first and possibly last, but certainly the most important time the country will need you. Ask people about it in your area, at the very least.

I was in one of the earlier threads. Some people were finding and sharing a few links that had some information on the surge, but the main poster soon stopped posting. A few hours later he and the other anons were freaking out and saying they were being gangstalked by police/fbi/ etc.

It's hypothesized that the belray surge was a test or misfire of a type of weapon that could neutralize specific biological or physical targets, leaving the infrastructure undamaged and usable by occupying forces. It was somehow activated in a neighborhood in Utah killing all residents. The entire neighborhood was demolished and covered up, but these are just rumors.
>>
>>17562238

I went to the place in the pic and looked around. There's quite a lot of those patterns around that bit of land but this does definitely have some truth to it as very old coordinates map shows houses and a farm in the EXACT same place as in the picture.

OP googled despair code and clicked the Reddit thread.

It's kind of spooky that so many anons talked about fed gangstalking after a simple search of a phrase. I've done a lot of searching and even visited the same archive of the Intel Exchange thing that trip 'Faggot' did, and nothing has happened yet. I'm trying to collect as much information as I can though. I've got screenshots and a Word document, lmao

>ask them to leave

Okay, did my thing and have made my mind up, for now...

I've decided that, after collecting all of the image I will attach, that The Belray, Bellray, Bell's Rays or Bell Rays Surge is simply a myth. I think the original person who mentioned it was inventing the name there and then. There is no local history to the area, and although things like this are really easily covered up, nothing matches and logic prevails.

My thinking:

The pattern OP's picture shows is just one out of almost 20 scattered almost up to 100 miles apart from each other. They are bits of land that collapse in on themselves and then gain rain water, so then becoming a water hole for animals, hence the scattered (un-straight) lines and paths connecting each pattern to a straight line, the straight line being the old land-lines from when this place had travellers, town-settlers, etc. etc.

There is literally no co-ordinance maps, no towns-people made maps or sketches of the hill range nearby and no local authority to that section of land south of Wildcat Road, which makes it hard to go back in history and find what was originally there, before 1993. But I did make some success. And I admit some of the things I found where a bit strange, like the abandoned land lines, these things I found in the road that I think are movement detectors and the fact that if you compare my satellite images of the area between 02/02/1992 and 04/1993, there is a MASSIVE change in nature and landscape. The water holes appear, property lines disappear, phone lines go UP. Yes, that's right, in 1992 there is no telephone poles by the side of the road and in 1993-onwards there is. All connected and leading to one unconnected pole by the edge of another watering hole. WTF?!

Anyway, here's my archive of thrown-together angles and images.
