This was: Utter. Fucking. Shit.
I tried so hard to like it, I really did, but this was way way beyond awful. There wasn't a single episode where I didn't pause it and go and do something else for a while because it was so tediously derivative and dull. It was like some sort of bad 70's tv or something.
I had really high hopes that this was gonna be amazing. Was super disappointed. I am officially giving up 1/2way through Ep 6. I can't see it improving, does it?

I thought it did but what's the point it's unfinished. Why read a book that's half written

The pacing was horrendous. The script was leaden. The plot was close to being non-existent. All of the characters non sci-fi stories were blah. The sci-fi stuff was less than half baked. Pfft.

Don't finish it. The ending was trashy and it's your stereotypical _everyone work together to beat the final boss!_ and love story at the end which all they did was kiss trash love story.

>Don't finish it.
Cheers, I won't. I am kind of nonplussed though how they got it so badly wrong. Possibly a bit of George Lucas TPMenace syndrome where no one was willing to tell the Wachowskis that they were cooking up a steaming shit.

Dude i'd just say fuck it at this point. Too many promising TV shows turn out to be complete and utter shit these days, mostly because they are aimed at people with low power of will who will get hooked in and tune into the next episode every week because they "GOTTA KNOW WHAT HAPPENS AFTER THAT CLIFF HANGER!!!!11" rather than actually watching because it's good.
I really want to find cool paranormal/conspiracy related shows but it's so hard to find anything good. I'm also trying to stay away from this whole "golden age of Television" and Series TV trend. TV drama has always been considered cheap and a lower form of entertainment, until pretty recently it seems.
I'd suggest watching Mr. Robot if you want a good /x/ friendly TV show to watch. Deals with global conspiracy and all that, and doesn't follow the whole soap opera formula that other TV shows are all using.. I mean it does have cliff hangers and stuff, but every episode has it's own plot and such.
I feel like its one of the only conspiracy shows that really makes you feel like there is a huge ring of a elites running everything.
That's my suggestion if you are looking for /x/related shows.
Any one else got any suggestions for spoopy TV?
