See, the problem with tarot predictions (according to my understanding of how it works) is that you can't really "see" the future with tarot. You're mostly playing with probability based on whats happening in the present. So, your own choices and the choices of those around you will change how things play out. Tarot just gives you the more important predictions, and some advice on how to make the future work out best for you.

I always rely on the other cards in a spread to inform the meaning of an individual card, which is why I have such a tough time answering about an individual card. In fact, I look at the general story of the spread and comment more on what I see between the cards than in the cards themselves, as I look at the cards as being points in a series of lines, if that makes sense.

But, my best effort to answer your question is that I often think about the dichotomy between the victory and losers in the card. There is a clear victor, but he is prideful and has mistreated those he has defeated, rather than treating his defeated rivals with respect and dignity, which is the custom in warrior cultures.
