Do you play any tabletop games, /x/? It seems like classic World of Darkness would be right up the alleys of the people who frequent this board. Get a group of relatively normal, oblivious characters together and you can basically make your own horror movie together. Call of Cthulhu would be fun as well. This might seem like a /tg/ thread but I've seen creepy vidya here before so I thought I'd try to start a similar discussion for tabletop.
i only know call of cthulhu as pen and paper roleplay kind of game, does it have a tabletop version as well?

When I say tabletop game, I mean pen and paper roleplaying. I forget that's the proper term sometimes.
Huge WoD fan, have the Camarilla sigil tattooed on my thigh and been playing their games for yeeeaaars. Never got into other /tg/ as much, but WoD was right up my alley.
Sad we won't get that VtM MMO anymore :/

I'm a Werewolf or Mage guy, myself. I think a single werewolf could make an amazing antagonist for a group of normal people if they were played right. Same for mage after I spent half a hunter campaign being hounded by one mildly powerful mage.
Betrayal is an amazing board game, if the players are into it, it's a lot of fun.
/x/ themes and everything.
I've only played 1st edition, not sure if 2nd is as good.
I write several of my own, actually. Many of them have Horror or Post-Apocalyptic themes.

I have recently employed a master stroke to get my wife and friends interested in RPing, as I haven't played a good game in years and the opportunities have been few and far between. I'm happy to say that it's working pretty well and we are about to delve into Mage: The Ascension 20th Anniversary Edition.
D&D may have been my first date with role playing, but Mage was my first love. The setting and background is by far my favorite in WoD, and the free-form magic system adds a challenging but satisfying role-playing element that just isn't there in other games.

Why don't we set up a game via Google Hangout? I´m new to the whole tabletop gaming, but i really want to try it.
I've always wanted to play a tabletop game, but no friends

Me too, the thing is I don't have a clue of how to play.
