i grew up in maryland, right between the beltsville husbandry research center and nasa's magnetic testing facility. Cant say i've seen goatman though.
People talk about the old greenbelt hospial, though i've never been inside.
I'd recomend Henryton hospital. It's huge, spoopy, & you wont get dicked around by cops cause its so isolated. (Asbestos warning)

Just remembered Cry-Baby bridge. Governer's bridge road in bowie by rt.3 is this old one-lane metal bridge over a creek.
Story is that some poor girl threw her baby off the bridge, and if you park your car on it at night and turn off the lights you can hear a baby crying.

Another bridge, where 295 crosses above a smaller road (i think it's southland) has a known true tragedy.
During the snowstorm back in 09, someone crashed their car off 295 there and wasn't found for like a week cause that other road is so small and plows dont bother

St. Mary's County reporting in. Here to say everything down this way is 400 years old and haunted as shit, there's no end to the old estate houses still standing abandoned in the woods. Of course there's also the Point Lookout prisoners of war camp and union soldier hospital from the Civil War which I can confirm firsthand is haunted as shit.

I have never been to Maryland, but:

Edgar Allan Poe lived a significant part of his life (and died) in Baltimore, so there have to be Poe-places of historical interest there.

Also, just a few miles west of Baltimore is the hamlet of Granite, Maryland. This site is where the "ruined hermit house" of Blair Witch once stood, in a fairly clear and not-wooded area. It has since been demolished. Another 30 miles west is Burkittsville, RL site of the town in the film's beginning. In between these two, to the south is the state park where they did the innawoods stuff.

The flag in this picture is hung incorrectly. Whether flown horizontally in normal fashion, or displayed vertically against a wall facing out, the union, or canton is always to be oriented at top left, or on the "hoist" side. The flag is therefore supposed to be "flipped" when hung vertically against a wall, and not simply "rotated".

Of course I know nothing about this band so maybe they're anti-American or something and they hung it that way on purpose, but I doubt it. Because... the more common representation favored by anti-Americans is to simply depict the flag horizontally, with the union at the bottom in some fashion-that is, if they're not burning the flag. I expect that there also corresponds a legitimate use of this up-side-down orientation when an American base/site is under distress, so if that's the case, don't think you're smart for pointing it out, because I did think of that.

The display appears to be respectful, just incorrect. There are even rules for when a flag is hung vertically such that both sides are clearly visible (this is commonly done inside Wal-Mart stores, along with the state flags).

The closest thing I have to a paranormal experience is when some guy used a real chainsaw as part of his costume on halloween

Point of Rocks, Tuscarora and those weird foothill farmland areas outside Frederick City that are all kinda similar (obviously, since they're the same geological shit) give me a bit of the creeps. Never seen anything out there, but the houses in the middle of nothing, the back roads, little no-where towns and the general terrain give me an /off/ feeling.

Worst spooks I've heard of out there are civil war ghosts and some flying eldritch abomination in the hills, but that one's barely worth mentioning.

One of my friends used to live on the Eastern Shore of Maryland. She said that she lived in a house where even though the TV and radio were off and the neighbors were asleep, she and her family would sometimes hear talking coming from several places from within the house, and the clinking of glass could also be heard.

It turns out that during the Prohibition years, that house was the location of speakeasies.

Drove by Governors Bridge today and it's closed for repairs. Where else can a PG brother get his spook on?
