Possibly, although it could be anything from a deer bone to a dog bone. Either way wherever you found it look around that aero for any more bone fragments. That way you can know the animal it came from, human or not

There was a vertebrae in the same patch of mud this bone was with. I didn't get a picture but it was thick and short, didn't look like animal vertebrae in my opinion but I'm not expert. More was found and occurred, and I'll post if interest catches.

I found a spine that looked very human as a kid on a beach but my Dad said it was probably a sheep and nothing came of it. I still wonder to this day.

I live in York County, PA. Biggest things we have here are Deer.

Rehmeyers Hollow is a local patch of woods where a Witch doctor used to live, before he was murdered by townsfolk in the 1920's. The woods are... dark, and hide many things I'm still trying to find.

Gonna dump some pictures before I go to work. This is Rehmeyers House, where he was mutilated and set aflame, though the fire didn't burn him according to the police who recovered his body.

Next to the bones were a few more oddities - this stack of bricks completely separate from the crumbling field stone foundation suggested I wasn't the only person who came here to do more than smoke weed in the woods.

I also found this stick, thrust into the ground at the source of a natural spring. When I removed it, the stick would rotate in my hand like a compass to point back towards the spring it came from. I returned it promptly. I have no idea who put it there or why, but it couldn't have put itself there naturally.

Rehmeyer was a Pennsylvania Dutch/Native American, or Braucherei, spiritual healer. Living outside the small town of Shrewsbury, he had a small plot of his own land and the superstitious would visit him frequently for his aid. Blymire, another witch but far less known and successful, believed Rehmeyer had cursed him which is why he had no fortunes in life, and asked Nellie Noll, the River Witch of Marrietta, what to do. She told him to find Rehmeyers book of spells, and burn it, along with some of Rehmeyers hair. Blymire rallied some townsfolk to his cause, but when they arrived at Rehmeyers House, they murdered him. Pictures were taken by the police of the crime scene, but are extremely rare. Rehmeyers ghost is said to haunt hishouse to this day.

While there, I found three fully enclosed ruins made of old field stone. The most unsettling was an arched room that kind of just... went into the side of the cliffs. It went back about 12 feet, and the wall looked like it led to another tunnel behind it. There was also writing on the wall, but it was too dark for my gf or I to decipher without going inside. She has a better pic I'll ask her for later.
