Hidden Rooms Confirmed In King Tut's Tomb

In continuation of the story we've been following since the inaugural issue of The /x/ Files, Egyptian Antiquities Minister Mamdouh El Damati announced, on March 17th, that based on preliminary findings from a radar scan of King Tut's tomb site, experts are 90% sure they found two new chambers behind the walls of Tut's resting place. Damati told the press conference that metal and organic masses were revealed by the scans, signaling that the rooms could possibly contain funerary objects. "It could be the discovery of the century. It's very important for Egyptian history and the history of the world," he said, adding that the chambers may well have belonged to a king or queen.

The search for the mysterious hidden room began last year when University of Arizona Egyptologist Nicholas Reeves discovered what he believed to be the outline of a hidden doorway, after examining photographs of the tomb's interior. Soon afterwards the Egyptian Antiquities Ministry authorized the use of scanning equipment within the tomb to look for evidence of hidden rooms and initial scans revealed part of the tomb's northern wall appeared to have different temperature to the rest of the tomb - a discrepancy thought to indicate a secret chamber.

King Tutankhamun, was the Egyptian pharaoh who rose to power at the tender age of 10 and died of mysterious causes at age 20. His opulent tomb was discovered by British archaeologist Howard Carter in 1922. The boy king was buried quickly; many experts believe that his death was unexpected, and that his underlings had to put him in a makeshift tomb.

Further tests will be done on March 31st to discover more about the newly-discovered spaces, followed by another news conference on April 1st.

Pregnant T. Rex Found, May Contain DNA

A pregnant Tyrannosaurus rex has been found, shedding light on the evolution of egg-laying as well as on gender differences in the dinosaur. The remains also could contain the holy grail of all dinosaur fossils: DNA. "Yes, it's possible," Said Lindsay Zanno, assistant research professor of biological sciences at North Carolina State University, and head of the North Carolina Museum of Natural Sciences' Paleontology Research Lab. "We have some evidence that fragments of DNA may be preserved in dinosaur fossils, but this remains to be tested further."

What has been confirmed so far is that the T. rex, which was found in Montana and dates to 68 million years ago, retained medullary bone that reveals the individual was pregnant. Medullary bone is only present in female living dinosaurs, i.e. birds, just before and during egg laying. It's this type of bone that could retain preserved DNA.

New scans reveal ancient 'pyramids' in Poland

A megalithic site featuring ancient tombs even older than Egypt's pyramids has been found in Poland. The ancient stone structures, which are believed to have been built by the Funnel Beaker Culture up to 5,000 years ago, are typically triangular in shape with large stone blocks around the outside. Thought to have been the final resting place of the tribal elders, these megalithic tombs are an important discovery and could be the largest of their kind found anywhere in Europe.

A total of 18 tombs were revealed - many of which having never been identified before - following airborne laser scanning and 3D mapping efforts by researchers from the University of Szczecin. "The area near Dolic is undoubtedly the most interesting, we have selected at least a dozen potential megalithic tombs," said Agnieszka Matuszewska. "In the course of verification in the field we have clearly confirmed the presence of 18 Kujawy type megalithic tombs, a much higher number than previously known from the literature."

Investigator David Paulides, who has become an expert in the large number of mysterious disappearances happening in American national parks and forests, discussed disturbing cases and the unusual patterns that appear with many of them. Open lines followed.


Thursday: Chemtrails & Morgellon's/Apocalypse Cycles

In the first half, biochemist and nutritionist Ted Broerspoke about an array of topics including secretive technology such as scalar waves, how transhumanism will turn humans into "bio-robots," and new studies on Morgellon's disease and a possible relationship to chemtrails. In the latter half, professor, author and Judaica scholar Ken Hanson discussed Easter, Passover, and the model for a 6,000 year cycle of apocalypse.


Friday: Alchemy, Immortality, & the Cross of Hendaye
Filling in for George Noory, guest host Jimmy Church welcomed filmmaker and hermetic scholar Jay Weidner for a discussion on his research into alchemy and the Cross of Hendaye—a strange cross located in a churchyard in the small southwestern coastal town of Hendaye, France. Open lines followed.
