I dared to think and found my body to be an abomination, a mockery of form and function, which serves no purpose other than to anchor me to a "existence" of which I am a hapless spectator of. That I died one time when I took lsd and now I am living in a false-reality parallel universe created so I can live out the rest of my life. That's true for fucking everyone.

The only thing keeping everyone on the planet from unleashing the blood crazed, rape machines that they really are is a list of arbitrarily defined rules that we were told at an early age.

Sure you can reach some sort of moral code using pure reason, so the argument can be made that the rules aren't really so arbitrarily defined. Maybe that means we should behave a certain way, but that doesn't mean we have to.

So ultimately, even if you subscribe to the idea that the rules do make sense (and I do) that doesn't give them any more sway over us.

You dont have to obey the rules but as long as there will be a majority of people who like these rules and are ready to enforce them they might as well be. They are not absolute laws like physics.

The properties of matter wont stop you from killing random people but the police are. Ultimately authority belongs to whoever is ready to try and enforce it. Too bad for us the laws were already made before we were born , and people have a hard time changing rules that already "work".

Speaking of things that already work for most people : society. You dont question your reality if it pleases you. Most people are pleased with the regular path one should take in life.
