the skelly is the library/gate of a time long gone. Shows him stuff he cant handle, in the terrestrial plane he is dead . rotting fertilizing the dead planet, becoming the ghost god, returnt to ship, "pyramid-tomb" new planet seeds with life. Simple actually. it's not a comic-comicky type thing. its storytelling art, meaning you take what you feel like, you know, it's not everybody's cup. it's cool , just an idea and lines on paper.

Stop complaining about everyone and everything while at the same time praising yourself as a genius. Turns people off and makes them think youre slowly going crazy (in a bad way). Youre literally marketing yourself as a misfit half-lunatic and then wonder why you cant brake into the mainstream. This isnt high art man, this is comics, you can hold your personal comic art in higher-esteem than the average comic out there (and justifiably so) but this industry is never gonna focus on those kind of comics like yours, theyre never gonna become mainstream, unfortunately.

Also, I would like you to shake the Pope influences a little, they make your work seem rushed, in a bad way. Your earlier, more japanese oriented style was way better visually and more distinctive and personal, like in the generator.

well art is defined as something done that serves no specific purpose , and comics are "sequential art". An oxymoron but these do form a sequence with beginning middle and end. NOT a standard type American "comic" .
In that sense you could say that , Moebius is NOT a comic artist, but he was one of THE comic artists. I pesonally care more about atmosphere , vibe and escapism . Lettering and the Vertigo type of race between the artist and the writer on who uses up the most ink when printing is just not my thing. And that's okay, it's just comics. But art can change shit.
