Serious question: What are some obscure internet mysteries? As in shit /x/ doesn't talk about every week.

I'm not talking about the usual stale circlejerk of ARGs, movie/vidya marketing, Shaye St. John, Max Headroom broadcast, the cicada thing, "have you dreamed of this man?", Normal Porn For Normal People, etc. etc.. Basically, if it's in the 4plebs archives, please don't post it. And I'm not talking creepypastas, either - please, actual provable links whenever possible.

Come on, let's scrape together some new material and make /x/ great again.
>>
>>17456063
Hmm, I'm intrigued by such a prospect.
Bumpity bump
>>
The Erratas thing comes to mind. /x/ accidentally discovered *something* and it led to mass deletions, banning, and disinfo.
>>
>>17456085
What's this about? Can you please elaborate?

Come on bro!!! You better not be shitposting. I wanna know what Erratas is!
>>
Erratas was a failed complex arg made by a guy named chronosforlife he insisted that he had no prior knowlege of computer but had morse code in 2 of his videos
>>
He's role playing that he can't post the link
>>
>>17456290
Was it ever confirmed an arg? Either way it was pretty interesting.
>>
I remember this one time some dude made a thread where he posted a bunch of screenshots of a home invasion.
Dudes in ski-masks and guns breaking into a home. The quality was very 90's VHS type of stuff, so it was definitely 'old'.

Thread got deleted for whatever reason, and follow up threads asking what happened also got deleted. Maybe a faggy mod or something but still weird.

Somebody also somehow thought linked to a Nebraskan cult, because some pictures where made outside and it looked very country side-esque. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Michael_W._Ryan
>>
Only thing that comes to my mind is that weird Church of the sun or something that one anon drove by and it was heavily gated with sec cams at the gate, but you could see a huge egyptian statue at the end of the drive way
>>
>>17456290
>he insisted that he had no prior knowlege of computer but had morse code in 2 of his videos
You know you can just look up morse code translators, right?
>>
>>17456348
Consensus is that it was a movie or tv show arg that got interrupted by /x/ early and so they told mods to delete all traces until they could get everything set up
>>
>>17456290
>morse code
>computer knowledge

And besides a videofag actually verified those videos were actually made with windows 98 or some shit, which is certainly consistent with the rest of the story.
>>

THere was one legit one from a few years ago.

A woman in Toronto Canada, whos husband was in politics wnet crazy and made like 100s of facebooks posts a day for like 3 months.

As I recall some literally mentioned monarch or MKultra. /x/ was all over it for a few weeks, then bam, threads started getting deleted and one guy said he was going to go talk to her, and he never returned.

Someone of you may remember that or even have the womans picture saved, not knowing where its from. It a blond woman, smiling in a business suit, shot from above her shoulders

The Tunguska Event has some pretty mindblowing implications about ancient alien weapons built into the Earth. Really worth a read.

Straight up alien cauldrons built into the ground that emit radiation and send out "Terminators" to destroy incoming celestial bodies that threaten Earth's continued existence.

This civil conflict that he characterizes as "having aWacotype event every month that steadily gets worse"[10]will be "pretty much at everyone's doorstep"[9]and erupts by 2008.

>>
>>17456063
I got one if anyone has any information on, I'd be glad to hear it.

I crawl the deep to categorize sites for my friend, who has a directory. Well, I came across a link labled, "DeepWeb Adoption Service: Guaranteed Delivery within 3 months. I try to go to it , and like many sites down there, the link was dead. I contacted the owner of the site where I found the link, and he said the place was legit. I asked around and they said it was legit as well. I managed to email the former owner of the old link, hoping to track it down, but I never got a response.

So, mystery: Anyone know about this site? I'm mainly curious for an actual screenshot, because, the skeptic I am, cannot believe this is legit, even though one of my crawler buddies says it was.

It's not mind blowing at all. It's simple physics. Small celestial bodies will break up (violently) before hitting the earth's surface.

Play around with this for awhile:
http://impact.ese.ic.ac.uk/ImpactEffects/

You'll notice that any impacting bodies will disintegrate before actually hitting the surface. That's what earth's atmosphere does. It's not fucking magic alien technology.

This was great mystery on /x/ for a while. The search got tripped up when one (or more) x-philes became absolutely convinced that the smiling girl in one pic was a certain girl from a "missing" website that the anons insisted (incorrectly) just like the girl in the picture. And shauna maynard was ID'd from the grad photo posted - her's is an unsolved murder, but none of the bodies (or parts of bodies) seen in any other photo belonged to Shauna. (we know where and how and even what she was wearing when she was murdered.)
there was a new lead when he posted the pictures of the man dying, claiming he'd be back in a month to "finish our game" (which would have been on 10/22/15 or so), but he hasn't shown up here (or on /b/) since then.
>>
>>17467905
Oh shit I was going to post this.
I caught it just as the shit about it was ending. From what I gathered it was called bad eye deer or bad eye buck. It was something British. It apparently had a big budget for the cartoons since there was a video showing the cast and it was very large. The cartoon was often referred to as "the animation that changes every time you watch it".
From what I recall it was some conspiracy regarding some powerful guy called frank and the cartoons were never finished since he never paid the crew.the cartoons also had a comic and featured a guy with a fish bowl on his head.
I don't know if it was paranormal but what disturbed me was how much this was discussed and then never talked about again.
I tried to start a few threads discussing it, trying to learn what the fuss was about and got no responses.
If anyone knows the full story please tell. I have tried a ton of detective work and that is all I got since I missed the original threads.

I just looked it up again to see if the channel still exists.
In fact it does.
The user name is badeyedeers
It has been uploading things as recently as 3 months ago. Animations are still bizarre as ever. Seems he has been attempting to pitch this stuff as network tv fair.
Despite all the uploads and overall quality of animation, it only has 32 subscribers and the videos have hardly any views.
Beyond that I know nothing more about this bizarre little channel or /x/s brief fascination with it.

americans don't understand taking the piss, sometimes, they seem to have a po-faced sort of sense of humour. not all, of fkn course, not xenophobic-ally generalising, many are hilarious, but some seem to lack sarcasm (and/or alternate types of humour) comprehension.

from what I gather, it's a sketch made by Albanian police, depicting a terrorist connected to an organisation called DAISH (possibly referring to ISIS, since Daish is another name for it). He was seen in Volgograd, Russia on the 2nd of December, where he was trying to recruit new members. There was also, supposedly, a video uploaded of his static face and some bizzarre sound in the background. Apparently, due to the low quality of the sketch, it became a meme of sorts in the Russian internet community.

theyre artwork from a woman with multiple personality disorder or something

as a child she was heavily abused and in a child molestation ring. Psychologist beleive that the abuse was so horrible that she ended up fragmenting her personality and memories into a ton of different personalities just so she could cope with it.
apperently one of her personalities ended up also getting into a child abuse ring and when one of her other personalities found out she told the authorities. She then got acid thrown in her face by one of the members.

Now she is getting help from psychologist to unify her personalities into less personalities(she apperently has the most in the world) and that there is like one or two personalities are basically in control and understand her whole situation. The sad thing is, that neither of those personalities call themselves by her real name, and that the psychologist believe that the original personality is gone forever

the dominent personality is called patricia. I remember seeing the doc of her in psychology class. Those paintings are some of the paintings one of her depressed artistic personalities. Psychologist beleive that the art that personality makes are the distorted memories of kim noble's abuse as a child, and in most of them there are laughing adults with crying children that are either getting raped or tortured(and they dont know whether or not all the children are noble or different kids that were also abused with her). Alot of her personalities are also very distrusting of adults and others

she also has a child of her own

normalpornfornormalpeople.com

Started as a creepy pasta, then some guy created the site and there was a forum where he answered questions, he called himself dr. V and uploaded three videos i think, according to him there was a purpose for the website, something about normalizing modern human's twisted view on sex which was corrupted by today's porn, but i dont remember much of what he wrote. He disappeared for a while and then returned saying he was being followed and sabotaged and sounded a bit paranoid. At some point he was recruiting members from the forum. Since then the site died twice (iirc), the forum's gone and other guy took over the project, as dr. V called it.

You can still read some info if you enter the website, but much was lost with the forum.

Explain the Dyatlov pass insident where a group of russian skiers were found with their tent ripped from the inside leading out, extreme amounts of radiation, some of them without clothes, and dead with their eyes and tounges gone. They also had no bruses but had internal injuries simalar to getting hit by a truck

Investigators could only say " an unknown compelling force" lead to their deaths...

YES.

People need to understand the BIG FUCKING LINK that NO ONE EVER SEEMS TO BRING UP:
One of the Chronos videos had AUTOMATICALLY GENERATED CAPTIONS with the address of a SPECIFIC HOUSE in Kentucky. You CANNOT EDIT AUTO-CAPTIONS, and still have them read as "automatically generated". You CANNOT FAKE THIS. I've tried. You either use the auto-captions or you make your own, but if you choose the latter route, YouTube won't have the "automatically generated captions" disclaimer. There's also NO AUDIO IN THE VIDEO MATCHING UP WITH THOSE CAPTIONS WHATSOEVER.

I'm yelling because this is WAY too specific to be a coincidence, and CAN'T BE FUCKING FAKED, and yet /x/ doesn't seem to give a fuck at all.

>Predictions are the only things that could come close to proving he wasn't full of shit

That is a Masonic book. There are lodge officer names throughout. It is not so much a code as it is shorthand, but made confusing enough that an outsider couldn't understand it.

Basically, what's being described are the Masonic initiation rites, or lectures. I have one of these books in my house. They're quite common.

I remember a guy posting on /r9k/ every night at an exact time to discuss frozen pizza. It wasn't exactly "paranormal", but it was really strange.

Every night, he would make a post that used the same format, and would then discuss different brands and types of frozen pizza in great detail.

I never screencapped them, because while they were strange, I didn't really think anything was odd about them.

The weird part, was that it seemed like there was a whole network of people that would join the discussion, and they were all really knowledgeable aboutthe production, distribution, and sale of frozen foods.

It was almost like marketing executives were using 4chan for their meetings or some shit. And they would have polls and deep discussions. All about frozen pizza. And I didn't get the impression that any of it was a joke or a meme.

It was just really weird...

i wasn't one of the deep divers but the jist of it is: if you googled childrens immortality project it would come up with THOUSANDS of sites related to it with varying URLs. The sites were filled with thousands and thousands of pages of writings, stock photos, family photos and deeper into it child pornography was found. If you accessed some of the CIP sites your Gmail account would be spammed at an unbelievable rate with mails talking about the project

the project itself was that they would place children in complete isolation from birth because "if children are not aware of death they will not die" which was retarded ofcouse

apparently some guy who visited the supposed creator of the sites dissapeared and a bunch of people said it was best left unsolved

obv just medical practice dummies but the stories about them being brains placed in artificial bodies were really good. Would love to see a mockumentary with that concept of them waking up in horror and pain and learning to talk. would be fucking terrifying

This might not be the thread to ask, but I remember a little bit ago (I want to say at least 5 months, not certain) about a guy posting about his house or a room being haunted. It spanned over a couple threads, and he posted about how some rooms would be pitch black and then he had his window broken or something. I wish I could give more of a description but I lost track of it and never kept up on it.
