I actually know a bit about this. They're ex-Neurocam, ex-Nautonier folk, who wanted to create a new "mystery experience" based on more difficult puzzles.

They have no agenda beyond mystique.

If they knew who was typing this they'd probably be mad at me, but it's unlikely they'll figure out who I am. I'm too many degrees of separation away from them to even be on their radar.

He abandoned it since then, took down all the media he used to have up about Neurocam on his Vimeo channel. I think he got bored and wanted to make a go of it as an artist / videographer.
