Only way that it works I'd if certain conditions are met while in a lucid dream. Such as you must be recognized by others while in your lucid dream they'll recognize you as you from that universe but the real you has to be out of sight from those who know him afterwards you can meet the other you but the method of communication will be very brief as your consiousness can only be in the border line for little time other wise you might die
