I have heard that Asian horrors are scary. What are some good ones?
I can't remember the details but I've heard a few from my Asian friends and family members.
1. I forgot what country this was in but one time my friend's dad saw a lady in a dress crying over by the river. He went to go check it out and the lady's face was all messed up and whatever. She then tried to attack him and drag him into the river. Somehow he fought her off and ran back to his house. He never went back to that river. It's like an Asian version of La la Llorona.
2. This isn't really a ghost story but it's more of an urban legend. There's this one that was told to me by my Filipino friend. http://myths.e2bn.org/mythsandlegends/userstory10601-hilot-turned-to-be-the-aswang.html
3. Another urban legend in the Philippines is that you're not supposed to sleep in front of any mirrors or ghosts will come out and haunt you. Evidently mirrors are portals for the undead.

>According to the legend, she walks around wearing a surgical mask.
>The woman will ask someone, "Am I pretty?" If they answer no, they are killed with a pair of scissors which the woman carries. If they answers yes, the woman pulls away the mask, revealing that her mouth is slit from ear to ear, and asks "How about now?" If they answer no, she/he will die. If the person answers yes, then she will slit his/her mouth like hers. It is impossible to run away from her, as she will simply reappear in front of the victim.
There's also that one yokai with an eyeball instead of a butthole and that's pretty funny to bring up. I forget its name.
