I experience it a little different then. I'm not able to move at all without feeling like being violently jolted, but I was able to get out once through the breathing and only tried that because of seeing so many posts about people noticing how rapid or slow their breathing is. I have been lucky and have never seen anything scary, the opposite actually.

Could be stress related. Cortisol can screw up all kinds of things if it is at all off balance. You're healthy and bodybuilding so that should keep things in check.

I had it for more than 20 years. Never saw anything because I couldn't open my eyes. A lot of different experiences with it, positive and negative. One night I was very tired of this and I got very angry during the sleep paralysis and since then it almost stopped. When it happens now (you normally feel it coming), I just get angry again when there is a bad energy around and it immediately stops.

I've always had horrible nightmares but for the first time I saw someone actually go through sleep paralysis. I was on a business trip with my brother and we were sleeping in a hotel. His screams woke me up and I looked over and he seemed awake but would not respond to me. He kept yelling help, help. Then I rocked him with a pillow. He didn't want to talk about it he just said he saw something terrifying. Still get weirded out by it

I have suffer sleep paralysis sometimes.
Really, I, never, though the same was suffer by other people. Always, I feel some presence in front of me.
When it happens I try to call someone with my louds, but my voice never appear. So I try to fall down out my bed, but I can't move any part of my body...

I love these threads. Whenever I get SP I'm usually barely lucid and on my side facing a wall, so hallucinations aren't much of a thing. I'm mildly concerned about my subconscious conjuring up some sort of eldritch shit next time it happens due to reading so many of these threads, but god dammit I enjoy them too much to stop.

I had the worst case of sleep paralysis I've ever had through the years, just last week. I had woken up, looked at my clock on my phone, and closed my eyes. I didn't even remember falling asleep, but I must have.. I heard a voice whisper in my ear.

"Perfect Timing"

I felt my body jolt. But I fell right into sleep paralysis, and the familiar sound of loud television static filled my ears, and the feeling of an ominous presence filled the room. I could barely open one eye, and I was filled with fear. Tried as hard as i could to yell to wake myself up fully, but to no avail. I felt the presence drawing near and I tried reaching my arm up to slap myself in the face. it was like i could feel myself slapping a numb face, but when my eye-ball crept downward my arms were still glued to my sides. I then tried thrashing my feet about and the static grew louder, imagine what fucked up thing lurked just out of my field of view, I finally managed to kick my feet and it woke me up.

I always seem to feel like I'm burning up with a fever after waking up. I'm always terrified to go back to sleep. It's usually a nightmare that brings on the sleep paralysis and one is usually waiting to greet me when I fell back asleep from it.

Don't know if this was sleep paralysis or not, but I think it was. Nothing like this has ever happened.

>fall into the lava and immediately I feel pain
>this isn't fun anymore, I think I've died and I'm falling into hell

>can sort of feel that I'm still actually in my body
>start trying to open eyes, I can see my room a little bit
>try calling out to my girlfriend who was asleep next to me
>keep trying to open eyes, move my body, and cry out to her
>after about 15 seconds of this, I finally snap out of it and jolt up

Last time I had SP I remember realizing it was happening and yelling help, to no avail. I was able to look around my room but did not see anything nor did I hear anything.

While it was going on I recall trying to get up from my bed, and fell straight to the floor. I thought I would wake up on the floor, but I was on my bed.
