Is outer limits (the newer, but not so new one) worth watching

in the first 5 seasons or so there are some really awesome episodes.

The worst outer limits I've seen was still ok,interesting.

there is a chronological order as well...episodes will site previous ones so it's best to watch in order.

I only ever watched it a few times. From what I remember, a lot of episodes ended with the protagonist either being killed or suffering a fate worse than death. I don't really care for that.

Are you talking about the original run or the one from the 90s? If you are talking about the 90s version know that some episodes are pretty bad, but the series as a whole is worth checking out. Try "Dead Man's Switch" season 3 episode 13.
