what magic are you trying to get into? i would get into smoking first as a meditation. but remember, its a dangerous game if your serious about it.

forgot the ask, why do you want to learn magic? what are you trying to accomplish? what are you willing to sacrifice? in the end, its probably not worth it unless you think your short term gains outweigh everything.

Magick is a full on lifestyle. It's kinda like being gay, except nobody understands. It's like being a sandwich that eats and is eaten, but if you're in deep enough, you know that you can be a sandwich again, so your current sandwich self matters about as much as the other sandwiches who ask "Wanna go see (superhero movie) and you'll know the exact plot and purpose, all it's magickal intention and it will be boring.

Magick sucks the fun out of modernity, it makes modern life pretty shitty in fact, like shittier than shit itself, because shit can be used to make a house, a temple, flowers, smoke, fire and stuff, but really how much worth are other people's feelings and dreams and hopes if their highest aspirations aren't pure, but genuinely the same as a common whore.
