Every time I think the world is an okay place, I suddenly remember Bobbit Worms.

Fun Fact: Bobbit Worms grow up to 3 meters long (10 feet).

Funner Fact: They can lash out and bite so hard and fast, that their prey (fish, crustaceans, coral, anything) are often sliced clean in half.

Oh So Fun: They burrow their entire body beneath the sand/mud, lashing out in the blink of an eye at anything that causes the water to wiggle one of its five antennae.

THE FUN KEEPS COMING: Bobbit Worms are covered in sharp bristles all along both sides of their body. If one of these hooks touches a living organism, that organism undergoes PERMANENT local paralysis.

Swimming in the creeks/rivers is a redneck pastime that I never participated in until last year.

It was a million degrees out and I was on verge of a heatstroke. Our air conditioning was fucked, so I dragged my girlfriend to one of the rivers across the road from where I lived.

By the time we got there, I was all out of fucks to give, and jumped right in. The water temperature was perfect, and the current tickled my balls. The cherry on top was the rolling meadows and valleys that surrounded us.

We done this almost everyday, and I would sometimes fuck my girlfriend in the water. A few UTI's later, my girlfriend and I ventured under a bridge adjacent to the river to change clothes. She discovered 4 or 5 worms that were latched onto her nipples.

Needless to say, she wouldn't swim with me anymore, and is now deathly afraid of worms.

Try again. They live in coral. Saltwater tank keepers occasionally end up with them by accident. Check out some fish-keeping forums- one guy chronicled his battle to get one out of his tank. Those fuckers can eat super glue without adverse effects.
