My view is basically this:
Humans, aside from animals anyways, are the lowest on the cosmic food chain. And everything else in the universe is trying to fuck with us for their own personal gain. Nothing good is going to come of practicing magic, Worshiping deities, all that sort of shit. Human "souls" are just a commodity. But the reason none of these all-powerful cosmic forces will contact us is out of fear of the other, all-powerful cosmic forces. So what ends up happening is a bunch of unfathomably powerful beings are just basically poking at us with sticks.And we are so low on the cosmic scale that we can't even do anything about it.

People always show, in movies and shit, us fighting back against the aliens or whatever. When in reality we'd never stand a chance. The power of entities like that are so immense that we are nothing more than cattle to them. It's kinda depressing when I think about it. But hey, world's not fair, right?

And for those who give a shit (probably no-one but meh) This is the way I see the cosmic food chain

I can tell you that I spoke with different Gods (norse and greco-roman), Angels and Demons. Not in the schizo "I can hear voices"-way. Rather in the "I initiate contact through ritual or projection, and then get answers" kind of way. Sometimes also in the "I fuck something up, and things come to fuck with my life for a bit"-kind of way.

So I don't believe, I really KNOW that magic, spirits, Gods, the afterlife, reincarnation and stuff like that is as real as it can get.
