I'm working in a different medium at the moment. I don't care which mechanism you use so long as I see three pics, each showing the same hand and the same piece of paper with one, then two, then three timestamps on it to denote the different pictures. The consistent timestamped page gives the rest of us a window to verifying the chronology of the event and can't easily be faked by a singular individual working alone from his room one fateful night. If you were the CIA, it'd be a different story and we'd need entirely distinct control conditions.

That said, I'd rather that you didn't stab yourself. If the paranormal is to be witnessed, it shouldn't use the hand of a mortal to do the job. I don't need to have people showing up at my door because I had some random fool stab himself in an act of faith. I really don't need that in my life right now and I see no reason for ME to take that risk. I can't say I'm not going to heal any wound you inflict on yourself in the next 20 minutes or so, but if you do so, it'll be at your own risk and I won't take any fault for it.
