I just wanted to make a few quick public service announcements regarding divinations and the like.

>How do I get a reading?
Lurk the thread. When a reader announces that they are doing readings, query the reader according to his or her guidelines. If a reader is telling you that he or she will do x amount of readings and requires a given set of information, provide the requested information if you would like a reading, and try to link the reader's announcement post to make sure you're noticed. You should preferably try to see if said reader is still doing readings before querying; it only takes you an extra 30 seconds or so.

>What if nobody is doing readings right now?
Well, you're unlikely to have your query answered if you post it. Just posting in the thread without querying a reader directly is what I like to call “air-querying,” as you are querying the wind. Some readers actually like taking these, but most do not; most readers only take private queues. If you air-query, it's a crapshoot, and you shouldn't count on getting a reading.

Although I'm tempted to simply answer these kinds of things with simply "ASK HER" I held off a bit and gave you a reading anyway.

I saw a thicket with a well worn path, by a lake. The sun was high in the sky, and it seemed bearing down on you. You looked at her face, the eyes shining, and you... knew, then. A detail suddenly made sense to you, it seemed so obvious before, why didn't you realize it until now? The lake was placid, the wind was rustling.

It seems to me you should invite her someplace to do something. A date, but a date that you could enjoy regardless of her feelings towards you, so that even if it doesn't work out, you would still enjoy it. Hiking, for instance. Or whatever. Ask her if she'd like to do it again. Use the right wording.

And don't be terribly disappointed if nothing happens, if at least your enjoyed your time together.

Perspective is one of those things that will either help or destroy your plans. However you can always learn something new from it. You can consider it as a 3rd door or something like that.

I've had bad things happen to me before, and it wasn't until I realized that had they not happen, even worse things would have happened, if that makes sense.

Overall you will have things happen that will have taught you valuable lessons, if you pay attention to details. That's what I meant by "depends on your perspective".

Huh. A narrow walkway swaying gently in the breeze. As I walked down the path to get you the swaying settled. I opened your door to enter a grassy knoll under a night sky. If someone's distant, it could be any number of things. Feeling distant, alone, just wanting to withdraw to think on things.
Give them some space. No one likes to feel closed in. On the same... hand though, offer your hand to them to take if they desire. If you remind them you're there, they may take it.

Like the backs sitting to each other: give them a poke. Whatever the response is, understanding is what you need to do.

And be prepared to forgive them if they decide to snap at you. Sometimes people snap if they're feeling under pressure, which is the same reason others withdraw.

You... you hit all the right spots in my heart. I can see a man, well, a boy really. By that I mean that he is boyish looking. Hard to describe. I sense that you look for weirdness in potential relationship candidates, but the people who wear this trait on their sleeves are usually more 'normal' than you first realize.
