THIS. MOTHER. FUCKER. RIGHT.
FUCKING. HERE.
My uncle roger
>>17114707
This movie is tons of fun. Cheesy and funny. One of those movies you could watch with your friends and have a good laugh. The design for Jackal is pretty damn bad ass though.
>>17114736
But when you're 6-7 years old that movie is SCARY AS FUCK, SON.
I had to walk through my house with the lights on for months. Fucking every night scared shitless.
>>17114785
Yeah, I know it's whole another experience for minors. Even the most retarded movies could scare the shit out of kids. In some cases movies intended to be comedies could scare kids.
>>17114799
Yeah, but most horror movies didn't scare me as a kid. The majority of them I looked at relatively neutrally.
Except for these two.

Scared ME SO SHITLESS.
Like GOD. DAMN. D:
>>17114823
Every kid has their 'hell no' experience. I was not scared by horror movies usually either. Nightmare on Elmstreet and such got me pretty good but the most horrible memory is The Coneheads. I have no idea why but damn.
Pinhead or Iliza S can't decide

>>17114859
But I liked Coneheads desu.
Michael Jackson in the Thriller music video when I was 5. I just sat there and started screaming until my grandma came in and shut off the TV. My brain couldn't comprehend what was going on I'd never seen a zombie before and I wasn't expecting it the way the video started off.
>>17114823
>>17114823
>as a kid
How fucking old is 13 Ghosts? I feel like anyone who was scared by that "as a kid" should be labeled underage. Am I wrong?
>dat Shannon Elizabeth non-tit, tho
>better in American Pie, but only rumors exist of the anon who is old enough to remember THAT
>desu senpai I'm the guy who jerked it into a sock to a fuzzy porn channel
>anons will never know this feel
>>17115013
I wanted to point that out too but I don't see a reason to be a dick about it. He could be 21 years old now which is probably older than majority of /x/.
This

Pet Semetary fucked me up for life. First horror movie i ever watched, was 11 at the time. It's silly now, but i still have weird flashbacks from the scenes with the sick sister in them, can't really put my finger on why, but i found her to be the most frightening thing i had ever seen at the time.
Probably any/all of the various creeps in Poltergeist. It's the first horror movie I can remember watching, though there may have been others. It's a travesty that they've remade this too.
And thanks OP, I miss this punny bastard. I wish I could find Tales from the Crypt on Netflix or cable, but it seems like they never rerun this, not even around Halloween.

Hellraiser, especially the scene where the dudes face is spread on the wooden pole and goes like "jesus wept".
Not something for little kids. And somehow more twisted with the relugious aspect of it.
I saw The Grudge just when it came out in 2004 if i remember correctly. I was 12 at the time. Holy fuck i had nightmares about Kayako for years.
>>17114690
>>17114690

>>17114690
This fucker right here was my earliest childhood scare. Fuck E.T.
The whole movie of Phantasm, but especially the scene where the thing comes up out of the sink. Watched it on the late late movie way back in the day, had to go to bed immediately after and the dark blue carpet in my dark room made it look like there was no floor. Major spoops for days. Have never/will never watch that movie again.
>>17115418
this right here
>>17115262
Silly werewolf... don't you realize you actually do believe in something? Is that why you hate yourself?
I always imagined Gmork was an office clerk typing numbers into spreadsheets all day in a Kafkaesque government office. Or a middle school vice principal.
Dracula after I watched this movie I can't slept for some night.
>>17116098
Me too actually. Now I find the evil girl ghost thing cool and kind of hot. I think FEAR 2 is responsible for it.
Chucky and that purple monster from ghost writer. Which is funny because nose serious shit didn't faze me.
>>17114690
the ritalin hallucinations.
100% the raptors from jurassic park. You know, the ones in the kitchen.

The first scary fucked that got me the library ghost in Ghostbusters. A little kid then but my parents used as proof I could handle mild scares like the movie. At the time I really wouldn't to watch it. It lead me to prove to all I know I could handle any scares, thus many horror movies, ghost stories and haunted houses, which I now find fun and enjoyable.
>>17115584
Yeah that movie fucked me up pretty good as a kid, too. Also it's always really bothered me when they slowly reach and look like that (he coulda bit her fucking fingers off ffs). I probably woulda just thrown the couch across the room.
>no one has mentioned this mofo yet
>People Under The Stairs
FUUUUCK, also OP's pic, Tales from the Crypt
Also, him
I watched a documentary about the zodiac serial killer. I don't know why it terrified me so much. I had watched several serial killer documentaries that day and that one was the only one that bothered me. I couldn't sleep for a week.

fucking this
constant nightmares for a few years. I had to finally discover lucid dreaming on my own as a 8 or 9 year old to realize that he had no power over me and there was nothing to fear. I turned him into a puppy or some shit whenever I started dreaming him and have been lucid dreaming ever since.
Being able to turn nightmares into something more pleasant and continue dreaming while aware is a handy tool for anyone.. especially traumatized children from night terrors like those. I would recommend it to anyone.
>>17114690
1980s chuckie
>>17116898
S-snake?
The mars attacks alien, I know that movie was meant to be a black comedy but when I saw it as a kid that lady alien made me feel sick I dreaded her coming to my room in the dark of the night to killme.
The scariest movie I saw in my life was ring (American version) it scared me so much that I felt on edge and terrified for about 2 weeks; I couldn't sleep, I didn't want to be around reflections or television screens and I just did not feel at all safe. Looking back it was really fun being in that state, kind of like living my own horror movie.
