We are God, there is only God, the pursuit of power over others is empty and non existent, for there are no others. Only the One Conscieness exists, the individual is merely an echo, a reaction of the One's action. You're pursuit is pointless, to become God is to first realize the individual is God, then to accept that everything the individual does is not a product of free will but merely the echo, and last once the echo fades there remains only the Supreme Conscieness.
