Studying chaos magic and spirituality in general made me grow out of my desire for more and more. Why make a sillyass sigil for wealth when you undrstand that material wealth is worth nothing ? If you end up using magic for ridiculous things such as love, wealth, or luck, then you don't deserve to use these tools at all. Use chaos magic for ascendance and being a better being in general. Also helping other people get out of the mud of their absurd lives.

And sigils need to reach your subconscious to be effective. Which means, frankly not thinking about it. Having a sigil tatooed on you is the stupidest thing you could do with it.

That is true, but if you think about these " goals", most of them imply having power over people, which can be a bad thing if it is used in a selfish way. But of course, some might prefer being the good leader/inspiring person. See Bob Marley's life, he had money and shared it with everybody that he thought needed it around him. That's great, but that's still just one man. I have nothing against that but there are not enough of these peoples. You see, we all know because of basic instincts who we can dominate and who can dominate us. Having money is a great factor of this calculus nowadays because it pretty much defines how hard is going to be. But it only works if you think as the society think, and not as just a human being. So I figured out it'd be easier to spread words of individual strength, praising the way of the wise fuck that has realized that there is more to life than that, and who can find joy and energy "the simple things" and not get fooled by the absurdity of our world.

Really, once you get a grasp on how these systems works in our society (global life), you can find ways to make a change in your own, individual life.

I used to be into occult paganism and have at least a cursory knowledge of basic magic theory. So I want to know what sets "Chaos Magic" apart from everything else. Particularly, why "chaos"?
