Bumping for interest. Looking for a specific artist nut have no examples of his work. His art style is similar to OP's pic but I don't think it's the same. He mostly did/does post apocalypticish stuff with a very bleak feeling to it.

I've always liked Paysage D'Hiver's cassette artwork a lot. Each has a particular mood that goes with the music on it very well. Conjures up fantastical imagery and landscapes.

not sure if he was disturbed or not, but otto dix fought in wwi and his art reflects some of the shit he saw.

you know, I've heard it said that you have to suffer to make great art, and if you take art classes, they don't seem to talk about that much. but the longer I have lived and painted, the truer it seems to be.
