Now before I ask anything about this and the reason why I'm coming here in the first place is because I've already gone to a few doctors (Eye, brain, and just a regular doctor) and they all can't seem to find a reason to why this is happening to me because apparently I'm perfectly healthy and normal so fuck it might aswell ask on /x/ right?

Okay I'm not gonna make this long I'm just gonna tell you what's happening. Sometimes things go black sometimes just generally just for a few seconds and only at home like I'm blind but my eyes don't hurt, head doesn't hurt, etc and none of the doctors seemed to have found a medical reason for it psychological or otherwise so basically what I'm asking is there any paranormal reason why this might be happening?

My house isn't haunted (at least I don't think so) and my family doesn't really have any dealings in any of this stuff? I mean I heard my grandma dabbled in witchcraft Puerto Rican shit but I don't think that's relevant and I can't really seem to think there would be a paranormal reason for this but there's no medical reason either and it's only happening at home so I don't know what's happening.

Help me /x/ you're my only hope.

Maybe you're blinking?
>>
>>17049974
Drink more water, sounds like you're dehydrated and have low blood pressure.
>>
>>17050030
But this OP
>>
This is normal and literally happens to everyone. The reason it's only at home is because it's usually caused by standing up too quickly after staying in a relaxed position for a long period of time. If it's happening abnormally frequently it's just what >>17050030 said, drink some water.

If you had actually talked to doctors they would have told you this.
>>
>>17050106
They brought this up actually

>2 hour late reply

I know sorry none of you are prob gonna see this but I'm plenty hydrated and my blood pressure is fine.
>>
holy SHIT op. i have the exact same phenomenon. it happens to people who are very spiritually evolved.

basically sometimes it flickers and everything goes black around me for a second or so.
like when you change a TV channel.
>>
>>17050373
What are you doing immediately before it happens?
>>
>>17050443

>>17050393 here it allways happens to me when i have certain thoughts.
>>
>>17050443
Generally nothing. Again sorry for the late reply. Sometimes happens before bed, sometimes happens when I'm just walking around, it's quite I guess quite random as far as I can tell.
>>
>>17050528
They are censoring your thoughts
>>
>>17052118
Yer a wizard Harry
>>
Sounds like you went to shitty doctors, you should have gotten some kind of explanation, even if it's an asspull. Are you falling asleep? I fall asleep with my eyes open once in a great while.
>>
>>17052118
Do you cardio?
Have you enough vitamins for your body?
How is your lifestyle?
Stress? Any personal anxieties?
Is there omega3s in your diet.

How frequent are the black outs?
Do they last for more than 30 seconds at a time?
Are there any other accompanying symptoms during the black outs, before, after?
When was the earliest case you noticed this?
>>
There was any case of it happening to anyone who was with u ? like if it happens to u alone, well it may be ur head, but if it happens to more than one person at the same time maybe is something else

Im asking because i have experience the same phenomena but we were 3 and it happened to us all at the same time.
>>
>>17052188
I actually do cardio about 3-6 times a week I take a break every 3 days so 3 days on 1 day off.

Vitamins fine I eat maybe 100% healthy I like some outfood here and there but pretty good. Plenty of iron too just yunno nothing really out of the ordinary.

Lifestyle well I don't really do much outside of the house much these days unless I need to. Not agoraphobic but just don't really need a reason just stay I don't need to work anymore because I'm actually kinda set on money so.

Stress? Well I mean yeah I guess I'm kinda depressed but stuff out of my control and probably my fault to a degree I don't have a girlfriend I live alone I have too high standards when it comes to girls so I don't really expect to have a girlfriend or a wife I don't really care all that much so I doubt it's a big factor.

Are there omega 3s? Yeah I mean a bit probably not too much I live a pretty healthy lifestyle generally.

These black outs I'm fully aware they're happening they've probably been happening since I was 16 probably I'm 20 now so I wouldn't say they're all that frequent and but they've only happened at places I've lived and I've slept in hotels and been outside of the house and it's never happened anywhere else cept my home now and when I lived with my parents which is why I don't think it's a medical thing.
>>
>>17052209
I live alone now but when I used to live with my parents it happened then too I never asked if it went black for them aswell thought it was just happening to me.
>>
>and my family doesn't really have any dealings in any of this stuff?

Why are you asking us a question that we would have no way of knowing the answer to? Also, stop role-playing.

>Le /x/ is a roleplaying board meme
Can this meme die already.

Kek
>>
>>17052254
It's probably psychological.
See if there's a specific trigger in your home.
>>
>>17053016
I thought about that but it happens in completely different rooms. It's happened in the bathroom, my room, kitchen, living room, etc and psychologist I went to couldn't point anything out of course they tried to pull the "well maybe if you come back more I can help" shit to get more money but idk I really don't think this is a me problem.
>>
>>17052254
I blacked out once too from standing up too quickly.
Family said I fell with a dopey smile on my face and I smacked my nose on the floor. Got rug burn on it.
People called me Rudolph for weeks.
>>
Odd that this happens to you at home, most I know of temp blindness is that it usually happens when people are facing extreme stress.

Albert Blithe was a paratrooper with the hundred and first airborne that invaded normandy, he claims to have lost his eyesight in the heat of battle but it returned to him soon after at his company's med station.
>>
>>17049974
check for high hemaglobin, RBC, hermaticrit
>>
>>17053639
Yeah I know it seems unlikely that it's stress or and Def nothing medical. Eh I suppose it's not a big deal I suppose it won't hurt if this is a mystery.
>>
it could be lupus.

Sage for a shitty off-topic thread.

Sure.
>>
Maybe it's cuz you have shitty lights that flicker on and off
>>
>>17053095
I'm pretty sure it's a you problem since it happens in specific places(your house) at random.

Maybe you need a specific diet or some shit. Get some brain scan.
>>
When it happens try to pay attention to your other senses.
>>
I remember a thread in leddit where a dude posted about the exact same problem. People just figured out it might be related to the brain and eletric signals and shit. Get yourself a specialist op.
