From my experience, knowing the cards is much better than knowing the spread.

Usually helps with answering the usual "Will I get a qt 3.14 gf?" and also the more in depth stuff.

The only time I deviate is when the question is something about time or something I know won't work with those spreads. Those spreads are more for "how?" and "what?" questions. Not really "when?" or "who?"

Yeah, I went through the same annoying process of "what the fuck do I do with these cards" but basically nothing is shyster bullshit if you know how to work with what you have.

The basic idea of divining is to find stuff or ideas through the use of something like cards or a book. You could literally throw dog shit at a wall and divine from that.

This probably sounds annoying but what I did was just experiment with a bunch of spreads and see what worked with me in a physical sense (memorization of positions, how much time it was taking for me to go through each one, etc).

Then I just worked on the meaning of the card positions and meaning of the cards themselves.

A lot of it just comes from knowing the meaning of the cards inside and out and understanding the position of each card.

Like what was "outcome" mean? Does that mean what would happen at the end of this situation? Or does that mean what would happen if the person getting the reading doesn't stop their bullshit?

I kinda like to think of it as actively looking for a reason why those cards were picked. It's like being a conspiracy theorist for each reading.

tl;dr = Experiment with some card spreads. Anything is fine. You could even make your own.Understand the meaning of the cards themselves and you're good to go.

Dunno if you're still around, but I just did three readings with the resources you gave me. They all came out SCARY accurate.Was doing a reading for a buddy on his marriage and a couple cards fell out when I shuffled that signified him as well as the act of matrimony.

Did a reading on myself with the Tetrakyts spread because it looked less susceptible to bias. It painted how my depression has affected my life - it also gave me the page of pentacles as to explain my whole intention for doing the reading - which was dead on.
