Either you saw something real, or you saw something that wasn't there. Because (no matter what anyone here says) it is unknowable which is the fact so I suggest taking the only action that would be recomended in both instances: IGNORE IT.
You may have been sleepy and road hypnotized by driving and maybe a firefly or moth flew by in just the right way for you to see something that's not real, it happens. And who really keeps tabs on exactly where a controller is set down? I know people who lost their reading glasses every single time I've visited their house. It happens. No pixy need exist to make these experiences occur.
These are not reasons to freak all out over any possible little weird thing or alter your life because of them. You don't want to end up in a madhouse, raving about magic beings. So ignore it.
And if you've actually seen reality as it was, then this has always been the nature of the world, then these things have always existed, and these tiny magical things are just anouther part of this world we live in, but it's just that you're aware of them now: I still say ignore it.
