ok let me tell you a story that happened a couple of months ago

Spooky road stories?

I love to go on bike rides, I knew about this road that goes up into the mountains that's supposed to be really pretty. I go, it's a super fun ride with awesome scenery. Coolest part was, at the end of my ride I found this old ruined car that had fallen of the road and smashed into a tree. Cool find, didn't think to much of it.

Couple months later, I'm about to tell my friend about this and as soon as I mention the name of the road, he tells me about the urban legends there. According to urban legends, a clan of cannibalistic albinos live up in the mountains. At night, people will drive off the road accidentally and get trapped, and the albinos will come out for them.
That was the fucking car I saw.

I worked for triple A for some time a few years ago. ive got a few

Canadafag here. Live in northern ontario, and come across tons of long stretches of roads with pretty much no one on them. Very nice in the day, but pretty spooky at night. Heres my Story.

Many years ago I was on what is called a "meet and turn" This is where a driver that is domiciled out of one city will drive a load halfway to its destination, while a driver domiciled out of that destination will drive halfway with a load that is destined for my city. We meet in a parking lot, switch trailers and drive back home. I had been on this run for a few months and found that I always got to the meet point about an hour before the other driver. It was a dark and empty dirt lot at about 3 am, so I would stretch out across the seat and take a short nap.
One night, about 10 minutes into my nap I was awoken by a barking dog. I tried to ignore it, but it carried on for several minutes and got louder as the dog got closer. Soon, it became apparent that the dog was right outside of my truck barking at me. OK, either this dog is Lassie and is trying to alert me to something, or else he is just a pain in the ass and I will need to throw something at him to scare him off. It is important to note that the barking had been going on for a good 10 minutes at this point.
So, I sat up and looked out my window. Standing there, mere inches on the other side of the glass was a man of about 35. He was a large fellow. And was barking at me. his eyes were crazy and he was frothing at the mouth a little -- the scene really held my full attention for a moment. The sheer creepiness of this struck me. Gently, and making an absolute minimum of sudden movements, I reach down and started my truck and slowly pulled away. He chased me, much like you might expect an angry dog to do, barking all the while.

I drove for 2 minutes and he still sounded like he's running right behind me. That's when I realized he was on the fucking truck.

Not really a "road experience" but mildy spoopy. I live out in a kind of rural area, a few weeks ago our flag pole was cut down. It was probably just some kids being stupid but the wierd thing was that the whole pole was missing. Like the top 10 feet. Only about 2 feet of it was still in the ground. I'm no expert but I couldn't see any signs of power tools. Also while driving home a few days later I noticed many of our neighbors have flag poles as well, all untouched, and our flag pole sits about a hundred yards down our driveway with no surrounding bushes/trees/cover in clear view of my house, while theirs are all within 50 feet and many have places to hide or whatever.

Again probably just some dumb kids but it just doesn't make sense why they would choose our house, gave me a little spoopy vibe.

When I was about 10 years old, my grandma was taking me to get some cleats for baseball. We left in the afternoon while there was still a little light left. I remember sitting in the back seat and looking out the window at an old apartment complex at the edge of town. Pretty normal except in the last window was the silhouette of a woman (probably) with hair that almost defied gravity. Almost like it was floating by itself. But I couldn't make out anything else because the shades were drawn. I shrugged it off as some old crazy lady. We got my cleats and on the way back I saw her again but she was lower, as though she was sitting, and it was brighter because of the time. I asked my grandma who the weird lady living there was and all she said was "I don't know, just look ahead ok?"

Really didn't think much of it at all. Probably means nothing but her hair really bothers me to this day. Never saw her again.
