You shouldnt think that faeries are those little flying womens.As much races of our specie,there are many species of faeries-you can think of them as good ghosts,but really every ghost can be a faerie.The most well-known are elf like,which is also the biggest faerie groop.

Also if you want really fast result-belive in them.Its not schizo or smth,you are just letting your third eye to see them.

Op, what you have in your pic is not faeries. They're pixies. Faeries generally refer to any of the Fae. The Fae do live in a different plain of existence. They live in the Fae. If you encounter a Fae, time won't be lost if you stay in this plain. Time flows differently here than in the Fae realm.

Also, mushroom circles are important. What for, I forget exactly.

One more thing. Fae are assholes. Never make a deal with one.

To my knowledge, time in the Fae realm travels slower than in our realm. A year can pass there and that would only equal out to a few hours or maybe a day here. I'm sure there's a formula for the difference, but I wouldn't have it in my reference material.

As to why the Fae want to come here, that's a bit of a story. You see, most Fae currently don't want to come here. The reason for this is iron. Once the Greeks discovered iron, the Fae left. Back in the days before iron though, Fae would come and go as they please.

As to why a Fae would come here in the first place, that I will never know. Fae operate on completely different rules than humans. Comparing a Man to a Fae is like comparing an apple to Apple II.

Folklore suggests they live in an alternate dimension called 'Fairyland' (not very imaginative, really). The Otherworld in Irish folklore, which is basically a realm of spirits and supernatural creatures, ruled by the Tuatha Dé Danann (or God Tribe). Basically, the Afterlife of the Irish people.

As for mushroom circles (or fairy circles), they're literally just mushrooms. A fungus is actually a load of strands called mycelia. They look like thin white threads. Well these spread under the ground outwards from one spot. Eventually, it forms a circle shape, as you might expect. Now the mushrooms themselves are just reproductive organs produced by the mycelia, so they appear at their edges. It creates this amazing 'fairy circle'. Obviously, folklore attempted to explain this in different ways; traps for the unwary, gateways for fairies, safe zones for gnomes, etc.

hey, I want to know if there's a fairy in my room at this moment. I've never seen or heard or felt a fairy before. So I made a fairy house last night. Also, last night I found an iron horseshoe in my room that my grandma gave to me many years ago and I thought that must be why I've never seen a fairy. I didn't throw it away, i just hid it, in case I attracted a dark/evil fairy.
When I went to sleep, I felt I was being watched, but I slept soundly anyway and awakened refreshed. Now I'm in my room the windows are closed and the door is too. I've felt and heard something in my left ear for the past thirty minutes. It sounds like when a bug flies close to your ear. I've searched the "bug" and I can't find it. But it keeps flying close to my ear. What do you think it is?

So in sum, is there any hope or possibility for a peaceful and equal interaction between a human and any species of the Fae Folk? or are they all hostile?

They're not -all- hostile. Most of them are ambivalent to humans. Many of them just stay in their own plane of existence. The few that are here are normally amicable with humans. I personally make it a point to never get involved with Fae simply because they're so different from humans.

At best they would only fuck with you, but usually they would harm or kill you and your family.
