Hey /x/, had some freaky shit go down outside my house last night and I was wondering if anyone might be able to provide some insight on what it was.
A little backstory: I currently live with my grandparents in the middle of Buttfuck Nowhere, Oregon. They've been kind enough to let me stay in their guest room while I work and go to school. They own a few acres out innawoods.
I was on my way home from work last night and it was dark. It has been raining for most of the day without let up. I was traveling down the private road we live on, carefully driving over fallen branches and other detritus from the fir trees that grow on either side of the road and I could hear the occasional stick fall and hit the top of my car. Out of the corner of my eye I see something move, and some object comes flying out of the first on my right and hits the roof of my car with a loud ass THUD, pretty stark and different from the pine needles and sticks that had been falling.
Weird thing is, from the angle it hit, it seemed like it was thrown, which struck me as strange.
So I actually get to our house and the rain's pouring even harder. My car has an oil leak so I don't park in our drive way, instead I park off to the side of the gravel road next to a fence that leads off into the forest and the creak in the ravine behind our house. As I pull up my headlights sweep across the underbrush, and I see something go running off into the forest, in the direction of our house.
Now, I've seen deer and owls and raccoons before, all kinds of normal forest life likes to hang out around or property. This wasn't any of that. What I saw had bare skin, slick and shimmering in my headlights and the rain. Pale, light grey skin. And it was moving on two legs. So, I'm freaked out by this point. I shut my car off and run for the sliding glass door at the front of our house. My grandpa's big red pickup truck isn't in the driveway, which means they aren't home yet.

So I get inside and I lock the slider up behind me. I try to calm myself down, reassure myself I was just seeing things. Our kitchen is the first room inside our house once you go through the sliding glass door, so I flick on the lights. There's a big pane glass window in there too, so I look outside, tying to see if I can see anything. All I see is rain and trees, so I head to my room to change out of my work clothes.
As I'm headed back to the kitchen, I see it again, more clearly this time. This thing sees me and runs right by the front window. Hairless, no clothes (no way out was human), thin, probably about 5 feet tall. Then, right as it goes by (fucker was fast) the power goes out. I grab a flashlight and a kitchen knife, go to my room and fucking wait.
Nothing else happened, but I'm curious to know if anyone knows what the thing could've been? Anyone else in the area have any similar experiences?

Weird coincidence maybe, but I have seen something similar twice now. It was pouring down rain both times. First time I didn't get a good look at it, just saw something gray and slim about the height of a Great Dane slipping into the tall grass on an empty piece of land. It was definitely on two legs. Ever since I've been watching this area, I pass by multiple times a day (drive a school bus), haven't seen anything until day before yesterday when it was pissing down again. This thing is crouching, sideways to the road, in the slough grass behind this kid's house. Rained again yesterday but didn't see it again. Called in to Animal Control saying I thought I saw a cougar, thinking maybe they'll send someone out to investigate if I don't say what it really looked like. Totally different part of the country though, farm country near St Louis.

I think i saw something similar to that when i was a kid. I think i was about 7 years old and i wanted to go into our garden in the evening to see if i left my toys there. We have a really big glass door heading to our garden and when i was about to go outside. I saw something you described. It walked slowly from one side to the other side of our garden and looked me directly in the eyes for a Moment. I was really scared and obviously stayed in our house. Weird
