A library is merely a human construct, however its purpose is a good analogy for the akashic records. the records are more like a web connecting every human and every conceivable experience into one accessible network. its operates on a plane of existence very similar to our own, but not the same one. I would describe it more as a museum of the universe, where knowledge is not conveyed by books, but rather, experience

When I give Past life regressions to people, sometimes I have my client train to access the Akashik Records. Some people tend to be blocked mentally and finding an alternative route works wonders. The whole idea of the "library" is simply used to help us, as humans, to visualize and understand the concept of the records. It's pretty much the universe's records of every single thing that's ever existed, thought, or happened.

I can't say that I know for a fact what the Akashic Records are, but I suspect the following:

>it has nothing to do with books except symbolically
>the information referred to is intrinsic to the procession of creation
>said information can be received in a sufficiently subtle and or attuned state of being
The accounts being symbolic is my preferred selection here because eastern wisdom and esoterica is conventionally symbolical and analogous in its discursive representations. It would seem naive in the context to interpret the accounts literally.
