The number 444 followed me for over a year, it got to the point where my friends started to notice it around me as well.

I am aware of the theory that you see all numbers equally, except the ones that stick out to you register in your mind so you feel like you always see a certain number. I forget what its called. But anyways in my case, it simply isn't true. It started just about a year ago when I started seeing the numbers 911 in very interesting and significant moments in my life. Most of the time I was in a certain state of mind, would glance over almost instinctually and see the numbers. It was like a part of me knew that the numbers were going to be there even before I looked. It is hard to describe the feeling in words. The numbers appear to me in such a way that they make me stop dead in my tracks and my jaw drops to the floor at the synchronicity. The moment, already monumentally and personally significant to me, is reinforced by the numbers. As in, the numbers appear right after a very important moment in my life, almost like the universe responding to me. It has strengthened my faith in the universal consciousness and God more powerfully than just about anything else.

A quick little google search shows a lot of spiritual sites saying that 911 is the universe sending signs through numbers. Mostly pertaining to finding your higher purpose and your mission in life. I take these signs seriously. To be honest, normally I wouldn't, but once again the way the numbers were presented to me I cannot deny its significance. It really helps me move forward in confidence, and I am grateful.

Let's say I buy a lotto ticket one morning, last four digits are 77 77. Then I check the mail later and have a check in it for $77.77. The number 11 is still following me and it's been six years. Whenever I look at a clock it'll read 's something:11. I'll be reading a book and when I look at the page number it's 11 or 111. I even bought a book about it.

I also have a number/colour/feeling correlation between my numbers.
I call them dry and wet numbers, and the colours often associate the landscapes of dry/wet places which is why I call them that.
For example:
1= Yellow number. It's kind of a dry number for me, it reminds me more of like a hot summers day. Maybe the beach.
2= Yellow number. Similar to 1.
3= Is a dark green or blue number. It's often associated with rainforests and dripping water.

You have synesthesia. I found out about it from this book I read as a teen, A Mango-Shaped Space. Turns out my mom has some form of it. I related to the book in that my numbers have colors, etc, but I don't like, physically see the color laid overtop of the number visually, like some people do. I just...involuntarily assign these associated colors to the numbers.
