First time posting here, hoping to get some advice/help/thoughts

The next evening, about 8:30-8:45pm, I heard a knocking from the kitchen. We don’t let the cats into the kitchen so I just presumed it was the wind or the pipes; something like that. After about ten minutes the noise was still coming from the kitchen so I went to try and find the source. After checking the room I found that the noise was coming from outside so I stepped out into the back garden to have a look. There was nobody around and I couldn’t see any sign of animals. I could still hear the knocking noise and it sounded like it was coming from directly below me. I stood still for a second and then crouched down and held my hand to the floor; there was some kind of light thumping or banging coming from one of the concrete slabs on the ground. I had no idea what to make of this and just waited around to see what happened. The knocks were about 2-3 seconds apart and continued for about 5 more minutes. After it had stopped I went back to watching TV and the noise didn’t come back.

Now, this is where things start to get a bit weird…

The next night, about 10pm, I had just finished showering and was brushing my teeth when I heard the floorboards outside the door creak like someone had stepped on them. I just presumed this was one of the cats and really didn’t pay any more attention to it until there was a scratching/knocking on the bathroom door. I could see a shadow underneath the door but I couldn’t tell how big it was or make out any kind of shape. Thinking it was my girlfriend back from her parents I opened the door but the landing and the staircase were empty; no cats, no girlfriend. I closed the door and finished brushing my teeth and then the scratching started again. I stood still for a second to make sure I was actually seeing and hearing all of this correctly and then got down on the floor to look under the door but again, there was nothing there. A little unnerved I got into bed and rang my girlfriend to say goodnight and all that shit.

At about 12:30am I woke up to my mobile phone ringing. I noticed I had 8 text messages and 4 missed calls. My initial thought was “Oh shit, what’s happened?” so I answered the phone but couldn’t hear anyone on the other end. I asked who was there a couple of times but didn’t really know what was going on; I’d been in a deep sleep. After a few seconds I heard a raspy voice in the background mumbling something. It sounded like German (I did a brief German course in 2006 so have a very basic understanding of the language) but I couldn’t work out what was being said. I hung up and checked the text messages. Each message was from the number: +00000000000 and read: “Sie sollten Angst haben.” I was freaked out now and googled the text. I’m not 100% certain but I think it roughly translates to “You should be afraid.” I checked the missed calls and, again, they all said missed call from +000000000000 and all had a time of 12:26am. I turned my phone off and lay awake for about an hour before going to sleep.

The next day my girlfriend got home at about 6pm and we had dinner, watched a film and just generally chilled. I wanted to tell her about what had been happening but didn’t want to worry or scare her. We went to bed and I was about to start explaining everything when she said there was something she wanted to talk about. She showed me her phone and, exactly the same as mine, there were missed calls and text messages from this +000000000000 number. The texts all said the same thing and all of the calls were at the exact same time. She then went on to explain that her period has started two weeks early and she was worried that she was having a lot more pain than usual.

After a pretty sleepless night my girlfriend left for work and I got down to job hunting. At about 3 in the afternoon there was a loud bang from upstairs. I thought the cats had knocked something over so went to have a look but couldn’t find anything. I was about to leave the room when there was another bang right behind me and I felt a breeze go past my right ear. Before I could do anything there was another bang followed by what sounded like wood snapping and the bedroom door slammed shut. I decided it was time to GTFO and went for a walk to clear my head. I got back home at 6pm, ready for my girlfriend to get back from work, and started cooking dinner. When my girlfriend got home she seemed flustered and instantly called me to come outside and look at the sky. She said she’d seen a strange light when she left work and that it had followed her all the way home. Her place of work is a 40-50 minute drive from home so there was no chance this light was a plane. Right above our house was a kind of glowing, shining yellow-ish light. Now, I’m not saying the greys were sitting on our roof or anything, this light seemed to be very far away. I couldn’t make out any kind of shape or object though so it was pretty impossible to tell how big it was or how far away it was. It was roughly half the size of the moon at the time.

Before bed I went back outside to see if the light was still there and, thankfully, it had gone. The rest of the night went by fairly calmly and nothing else really happened until 4am the next morning. My girlfriend woke me up in a panic saying that someone was out in the garden messing with the shed. I went downstairs and looked out into the garden and, sure enough, the garden shed door was open. I grabbed a hammer from under the sink and quietly opened the back door. I could hear something moving inside the shed but couldn’t actually see anything. I took a few steps forwards and then something or someone started to come out of the shed. I shouted for them to get the fuck out of my garden before I smashed their shit up with the hammer (I was spooked big time) and then this figure just stopped moving and seemed to stare at me. At first I thought I was just seeing things but then it all kind of clicked that this was real; the shadowy figure was about 20-25ft away from me and easily a foot taller than my garden fence. This thing was about 7ft tall and totally fucking black. It was making some kind of grunting, snorting noise and it seemed to glide rather than walk towards me really slowly. I ran back inside, locked the door and turned the light on. This thing was stood right outside my back door. The window in the door itself was steaming up every time it exhaled (it snorted every time it did so) but I couldn’t see a face or a body or any kind of identifying marks or shapes.

After a few seconds it simply vanished; the noise stopped, the steam on the window began to fade and I could see the garden again. It was strange; when the thing was stood there it was like a total blackness. But then when it vanished it was just dark. Like, I could make out the shed and the fence and the plants in the garden but when it was stood by the window I couldn’t, like it was a solid object.

My girlfriend was freaked the fuck out and wouldn’t go back to sleep at all after I told her about what was down there and we just watched TV until the sun came up. At about 6:45am she went for a shower while I made her lunch for work. The light in the kitchen started to flicker and I was scared that this thing was about to come back. I reached for a knife but then I heard my girlfriend scream from upstairs. I ran to see what was wrong and was totally fucking dumbstruck when I got into the bathroom. She was in the shower and it looked like there had been a brutal murder or something. There was more blood than water; all over the bath. She was crying and saying that she thought she was dying or something. Her period had started two weeks early and had been going on for about 13 days at this point which is not fucking normal at all. Once she was dressed we immediately went to the local hospital and explained what had happened in the shower. After a few tests and scans the doctor said that he couldn’t find any sign of menstruation or any kind of abnormality at all. The only thing that he did point out was a small-ish dark mark on her abdomen that appeared to be in the shape of a hoof, or like, a thumb and two fingers pressed against a surface- I’ve never really seen anything like it.

The hospital visit was two days ago and so far nothing else has happened. We’re both terrified that something else is going to happen but I have no idea what to do.

Can anyone give me some advice or help me out? Anything like this happened to other people? I have no fucking idea what to do now.

Well, hesitant to say it, but sounds like a haunting, maybe even demonic. I would try to bring some spiritual symbols of your choosing into your house and see how the entity (if there is an entity) responds. If there is one, it will most likely respond negatively to their presence.

The most important thing here is to be in control yourself. Whether you´re imagining things or not, banishing rituals and invocations will at least do something in both scenarios (if you´re imagining things they will influence your subconscious and and make it go away hopefully, if it´s a real entity then they´ll make it angry at least) so you´ll get a reaction in any case, in theory at least, know what I mean?

A few traditional methods are, as other Anons said, salt on doorsteps/windowsills, burning sage in your home while reciting some kind of invocations, pentagrams (ONE point pointing up, start on the left bottom and go to the top, then continue for a generic [earth] banishing pentagram) anywhere, symbols of some "good" deity, banishing rituals like here http://hermetic.com/crowley/equinox/i/ii/eqi02003.html point IV, etc. But if you're not roleplaying then this thing does sound strong, consider getting help in person. Still, don´t let it intimidate you. Not being scared or straight-up ignoring it, not letting it into your life is the first line of defense.

OP here guys.
We got to my girlfriend's parent's house and started to upload the videos. My girlfriend's mom said she had been getting some weird phonecalls for the past two or three hours from someone asking for me. They wouldn't give their name or a contact number and when she tried 1471 the number was withheld.

Once I started the upload, weird things started to happen again; lights flickering, fire alarm going off and so on. There was a powercut just before 10pm so we all went to bed. Didn't sleep much, but nothing else happened last night.

I'm back home now and starting the upload again.

Also, just want to try and clear up a few points.

My mobile phone died while I was trying to record the noises I could hear. I started to charge it while I waited for my girlfriend to get home. Once we were on the road I also used an in-car charger so that I could keep posting.

The house seems abnormally quiet at the moment. I'm not sure how to explain it...
There's still a smell of copper in the dining room and living room but other than that, everything seems okay.

I contacted the estate agent when they opened this morning and said that I thought we had some birds in the loft so they are going to get someone out to take a look up there and contact the house owner for the key.

I've banished something using sage burning on a small hot iron skillet. Demons are supposed to dislike iron, and sage has long been used in more than one culture for cleansing rituals. I've also heard that demons are repelled by dragon's blood... it's a plant resin that comes from the plant in this picture. You'd need the real shit and not some hippy perfume bullshit, though, if it's even true. (I only recomend buying Dragon's Blood for serious spiritual needs, hippy bullshit has caused some damage to the forests which only exist on a single island)

The thing I banished wasn't very powerful at all. If your story is true, you're dealing with something with some power behind it. My cousin had a demon come after her family once who was powerful enough to throw over a massive entertainment system and throw around objects. She had success with having a priest take care of it. It's worth considering.

Also, please get your cats to safety. When a cat is terrorized you know it's bad. Cats usually don't give a shit about spirits, unlike dogs.

I did look into the house when we first moved in; just out of interest. It was built about 10 years ago and the owner has lived here since it was built. He is Spanish and is wife was Scottish. They moved to Spain and started renting the house out, my girlfriend and I are the first people to rent it. I can't really find any information about what was on the land before the house. Okay, things are starting to get weird again now. The initial posts and updates got me interested and my immediate thought was "Paranormal Activity 1". However, the lack of any evidence is making me skeptical. On an android phone, one can stream the events using Ustream or Livestream apps. Just saying.

If everything you say is real, I feel for you, OP. On that note, you shouldn't do anything that you do not understand well, such as trying to perform rituals. All that could worsen the situation. The place needs to be cleansed by a psychic or a priest.

Safety of yourself and your girl should be the priority and she needs medical attention. Disclaimer: I've not yet read through the entire thread so I apologize if someone's already said this.

First of all, I don't really have any advice on the paranormal stuff but I'm sorry that you guys are going through such a thing. It doesn't sound like fun, at all. I wish I knew what to suggest but unfortunately I don't. Hopefully you will get some decent replies here from other, more experienced anons.

I just wanted to comment on a couple of things that may or may not help. As far as your cats acting strangely goes, it can take MONTHS, sometimes a bit longer even, for everything to get back to normal after a move(or other huge, stressful event). It's likely that they're merely trying to figure out their new hierarchy, since its been upset by the move and all that goes with it. Sometimes when cats fight amongst each other they will attack their humans as well. It's a well-documented behavior, very common. - called "displaced/misplaced aggression". Also(common sense but I'll mention anyways, just incase!), while on the subject of cats': their senses are much, much more sensitize than our human senses. It's not impossible to think that they've been responding to something that you, yourself, as a human cannot see, hear or smell.

As for your girlfriend, this sort of thing can happen with hormonal birth control. Also as we age sometimes it just gets much heavier over time; it may or may not go back to normal. I know it seems like a lot of blood but I'm assuming you guys are pretty young and honestly if the doctors aren't worried about the blood loss then I would try not to worry about this.

If symptoms keeps up it would be a good idea to start her on some iron and b vitamin supplements to help replace that which has been lost with all that blood... taking a vitamin c supplement at the same time can also help to increase the absorption of the iron by up to 30%.

Sorry for not posting guys. GIrlfriend is back home now and the test results haven't shown anything negative. The doctors said they didn't understand what the mark was or the symptoms she has been having but after some rest her BP returned to normal and she seemed okay again.

I contacted the estate agent again about the key to the loft and told some bullshit story about my girlfriend being taken into hospital because of rat or bird droppings and that there was something moving around in the loft; they've told me that I can go and pick up the key any time after 9am today so I will post results asap

I thought the owner took that key with him to Spain?

I was told that the owner had taken the key to Spain with him when I first moved in and that the loft space was not part of the letting agreement. The tenancy agreement actually states; "Loft space not included in rent of property." I never had any need to check this out really but it turns out it's just a standard hatch key. The inventory for the property states "Loft Key =1" but the estate agent said that the owner had left it instructions for it to be kept in the safe at their office unless absolutely necessary.

As for the screen caps; I only posted one image. I have no idea how the other image was posted using my ID. I understand that sounds like total bullshit but I don't know what else to say.

Okay guys; I've been into the loft now. I found some strange drawings and writing on pieces of paper. It looks like it was painted on or something.

Kept hearing knocking noises (which I guess is totally normal for a loft) and then there was some kind of grunting noise followed by a murmur. I got it all on video; currently uploading to youtube.

On watching the video back the murmur is actually quite obvious and sounds like it could be a word; I can't work out what it is though.

First, you need to create a new thread I guess, as it is reaching 300 posts.

Secondly, post timestamped photos of loft and whatnot. Because right now, it all sounds like a fake story.
