The only lyrics I can remember are "come and take me higher" or "come on, take me higher" sung in an upper register with "come and/on take me" sung in the same pitch, but with "higher" at least a major third above, and with the "i" elongated, so it almost sounds like "hiiiigher".
70s or 80s disco-style dance music, with perhaps a touch of R&B/Soul, probably sung by an African-American female.
It's not "Monsta" by Messiah.
Any ideas?
Pic unrelated.
the lyrics dont really match, but is this it?

No, that's too 50s/60s-esque. The piece I remember was definitely 70s/80s.

Diana Ross, maybe?

No, like I said, it's very disco-y, that song isn't disco at all. Think something along the lines of "Stayin' Alive".

Just google "take me higher" and "song" and go through the songs until you find it.

I've tried, it's in so many damn songs I've lost count.
