I'm looking for a Mahou Shoujo show to watch. I'm currently watching Ojamajo Doremi first season and while it's cute and all, I'd like a show that is closer to the "darker" approach like Nanoha or Madoka.
Also, I've only watched the first season of Nanoha so perhaps you could help me about the series, given that I've heard it becomes quite a bit of a clusterfuck later on.
And please, no Princess Tutu.

The Wedding Peach Manga, moreso than the anime although the anime also had its moments in the OVA [spoiler] Salvia killing her boyfriend has gotta suck [/spoiler] . Same with Pretear, moreso the manga than the anime.

It's a cute shoujo but it's one of those that transcends its target audience. I think anyone can enjoy it.
