Looking to get a good set of headphones, I have around $40-60 to spend on a set. Looking for a closed over the ear set, will be using them mainly at home so travel isn't an issue. I value the quality of them over convenience, or comfort. They just need to be good quality for the price I listed. Suggestions?

Sony MDR-V6
You can usually find them in that price range on ebay.
Look for a decent pair that aren't all cracked to shit - there are some terrible ones on there.
You can change out the ear pads.
Sennheiser series are nice. I have HD 201. Crystal clear sound. Little low on the bass side, but besides that, they are just perfect.

Not bad headphones for $50. distortion when you crank the volume all the way up, though. at normal levels, though, pretty good.
