so i have been looking for a new anime for a while now and i havnt really found anything that has caught my eye. i liked stuff like steins gate, deathnote, berserk, hunter x hunter. im looking for something kinda dark with a story that grabs you and makes you depressed once you finish the series. comon 4chan help me out with a new addiction

Watch some classics, like Ghost in the Shell or Akira. In general look into Evangelion and the things it inspired, like Serial Experiments Lain, Texhnolyze, or Boogiepop Phantom. It's good to do some actual reading up on a hobby when you're getting into it instead of just asking for recommendations, by the way. Learn what the essentials are, that kinda thing. Also please work on your spelling next time, I don't mind giving recommendations but blatant newfaggotry is painful for the people who actually use this site. Lurk more.

It's dark, the story is the kind the grabs you early on, and it will leaving feeling depressed because of how bad it got after episode 12.
