I'm new to linux, and I'm having a fairly big issue.
I'm running ubuntu from a flash drive without installing it. The issue is, my computer doesn't have wifi and I have to use an external adapter. I have the adapter, the install disk, and I know how it works, but I can't install it on my linux setup because I can't access the internet. I know I need ndisgtk, but I can't get it without internet, which I can't use without the adapter, which I can't install without ndisgtk

Can anyone help me with a shortcut or tip of some kind? I can access all of my windows files while in ubuntu, if that helps. Any sort of download link for ndisgtk that I can slap onto my windows partition and use in ubuntu, anything?
(No appropriate image to use, so have some Evanna Lynch)
Plug an Ethernet cable, install Wi-Fi driver from Internet, unplug cable.

none long enough
I wish it was that easy
trust me, if I could've used ethernet at any point I would've done so,, from preferance alone if nothing else.
shameless self bump

Pick one. Download links on right side. Slap on to CD or ThumbDrive. What don't you understand about the internet?
