Is there a way to do background playback with youtube on windows 7? Like that useless youtube red thing that you could do with other apps.
I have firefox incase there is a plugin to do that. But so far my searching has yielded no reseults.

I'm confused so explain it in more detail. You are using Youtube in a desktop browser and want to do background playback? What's the difference between that and opening it up in different tab and then doing something else?

I'm using firefox, I could open a video in another tab, but no matter how I would resize it, the window would have its border, scrollpanel on the side, toolbar, etc. I would like a program that would do youtube playback borderless (like you tube red and alike does on phones) and also make it stay on top of programs while switching between them.
Mostly because if I would just do it in a new tab it would take up so much more realstate of my monitor I couldn't do things efficiently, and wouldn't stay on top of all programs.
OP
The only possible solution I've found for this is to open youtube video in an external video player like mpc-hc or vlc, but the plugins I've found to try this either don't work, or are not for windows (eg. linux), if anyone knows one add-on like this for firefox that would be helpful too
