http://pastebin.com/GjaP1hyk
I downloaded aegisub but cant get this into a file type i want.
Im pretty sure i need it to be .srt because im using vlc
>>41225
>open notepad.exe
>copy and paste
>save as baddragon.srt
>>41229
it might be a problem with vlc because the video isnt playing when I change the file type to srt

Why would you use vlc in the first place?
Isn't the standard .ass? Anyway, shouldn't you put the script into aegis and then process it into a subtitle format? Then I think you can just open the video you have and load the subtitle.

im using a mac for work
i dont know of any other alternatives

I have tried this but I dont think I have the right actor and separator or something because it turns out like this
>>41246
these are the default import options
>>41242
>mac
>vlc
wow, kill yourself

Alright I downloaded aegisub and I found that the txt you have in the OP can simply be saved as .ass, just change the filename. You should use mplayer for mac.

VLC can handle ass files just fine, simply name the sub file like the video file and it should load automatically, or load it manually.

This worked. Thanks a lot!
