I ordered a 500gb hard drive to replace my shitty 75gb disc drive on my computer and when I boot up my PC it says no boot device available along with the list of SATAs. It says 4 and 5 are installed but 0 and 1 are missing. /g/onads pls halp
PC is a Dell Inspiron 518 btw

In most cases it goes like that:
1. Turn on PC
2. Go to BIOS setup
3. Make sure booting from CD/DVD is on the top of boot priority list
4. Insert OS installation disc
5. Save and exit
6. ???
7. Installation guide shall help you from now on
