I'm trying to figure out another anime series to get in to, though i'm not too sure just what series i want to start.
I'd be more interested in something more action-packed, you know, like Shonen, but things with a more strategic side to it don't hurt.
Series i've already watched are Hellsing, Code Geass, Full Metal Alchemist (Brotherhood too), Death Note, Boku no Hero Academia, Gurren Lagann, and Attack on Titan, so don't recommend those. I figure you could also use that to gauge what i'd be interested in...
I'm going to be getting in to Jojo's Bizarre Adventure, Fairy Tale, and One Punch Man with a friend later on in the future so don't recommend those either.
Thanks lads.

The first Garo anime is pretty cool. Has a FANTASTIC movie, too. Complete separate continuity from the live action show, It makes a great standalone series.

I recommend watching Hunter x Hunter (2011), it's got both action and strategy. All 148 episodes are relevant except for episodes 13 and 26, which are recap episodes. Besides that, there's no filler or anything and should keep you entertained for a while.
By the way, "shounen" is a demographic, not a genre. As an example, Nisekoi, which is a romcom, is a shounen title.
