I'm dying here. Can anyone tell me if the following statements are true or false?
1. {O}⊆{{O}}
2. {O}⊆{O,{O}}
3. {O}⊂{{O}, {{O}}}
I've been trying to figure it out for hours. I would appreciate any help a lot..

what do the symbols mean?
Sorry, symbols weren't supported. Those are empty sets.

step one read
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Subset
or better yet just read the appropriate chapter in your fucking textbook which your professor has probably already told you to read
1 is false, the set on the left contains O but the set on the right does not (it only contains {O})
2 is true because the set on the right actually does contain O
3 is false for the same reason as 1
just imagine that instead of O, {O}, and {{O}}, the were A, B, and C
then your statements would look like:
1. {A}⊆{B}
2. {A}⊆{A, B}
3. {A}⊂{B, C}
